I hit Day 100 something on June 1 of my participation in the Medi Weight Loss Program which I enrolled in in February and so far I've lost 31 pounds.

I walk 45 minutes a day and even count heavy lifting as exercise. Since I'm bad about skipping breakfast I try to have four eggs or egg beaters for that meal, usually have meat with no bread for lunch or dinner, and I still battle fatigue but only due to some new medication I'm on. Plus I still have to get down to 140 lbs., having started at 233.

I noticed today that though I cheated on my diet, I only ate half so I guess that's progress. I'm allowed fruit, vegetables, protein, but no bread or pasta for now. I'm now in the Acute Phase (there are three). Eventually I will progress to the Maintenance Phase where I will only have to go into the clinic once a month. But for now I go twice a week and the progress I've made has been unbelievable.

A friend of mine today told me that maybe she'd start walking, too.

Now if I can just learn to not check out a new Ben & Jerry flavor on a monthly basis.

Medi-Weight Loss Clinics is presenting "The Glow Project" this month with all proceeds benefiting e Women Network Foundation.

Sandra Yancey, producer and director of The Glow Project film's philosophy states that if you do good to others it will come back to you tenfold and that is the premise of the movie.

Tickets for the private screenings can be purchased at glowproject.org and the movie will be shown on June 12th at Studio Movie Grill in Dallas, TX, 11170 North Central Expressway from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (214-750-1423); June 19 at Studio Movie Grill-Addison, 5405 Beltline Road in Dallas, 11-2 (972-991-6684); and June 26 at Studio Movie Grill-Arlington, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. located at 225 Merchants Row (817-466-4440).

Called "the most inspiring movie ever created for women," it's a must watch film for every woman on the planet, says the Women's Leadership Exchange.

The project film, based in Dallas, spotlights 14 women who are successful corporate achievers and entrepreneurs and also give females the chance to become a company affiliate.

Ladies Who Launch says in their statement about the film, "It's passion, drive, commitment."
