The Grand China Wok Buffet is conveniently located in the Vestal Towne Square Mall on Vestal Parkway in Vestal, New York. They are located next to the Lowes Theatre in the middle of the plaza. The staff is smiling and friendly and the service is beyond that of any other buffet. They are quick to clear away plates and fill your drink when it is close to being empty. The Grand China Wok Buffet offers a selection of seafood dishes during their lunch hours when most other places save those for the dinner hours. Items range from the traditional lo-mein egg roll, spring roll, and rice dishes, to the exotic seafood delights, shrimp stir-fry.

For those of you who are eating healthy, The Grand China Wok Buffet offers quite a large selection of low fat, low carb dishes and if you don't enjoy meat, they offer a selection of vegetarian fair for your enjoyment. For your young diners, The Grand China Wok Buffet offers chicken nuggets, french fries and even pizza. The Grand China Wok Buffet's prices are quite fair and reasonable with lunch being $5.49 per person, plus tax and drinks. Dinner is also reasonably priced, starting at $7.99 per person plus tax and drink. Some nights, they have a special menu that will cost you more, however it is still reasonable compared to most other restaurants in the area.

If you're out and about shopping, especially in the Vestal Towne Square Mall, you can take a break without having to leave the plaza. You just have to head down the sidewalk a bit to find The Grand China Wok Buffet. Going out to dinner and a movie? Why not go to The Grand China Wok Buffet for dinner before or after your film. You won't even have to get in or out of your car to go from one place to the other. The Grand China Wok Buffet entrance is a mere 50 feet from the entrance to the Lowes Theatre. On the other side, The Grand China Wok Buffet is flanked by a Coconuts and a Hallmark store. Down the sidewalk a bit further, you will even find the Super Wal-mart. Need to get groceries or pick up a few necessities? Want to get dinner first? Just stop at The Grand China Wok Buffet and get your fill of Asian cuisine so you don't have to shop hungry.

    Sadly, we had the same experience as Jennifer S. At one time the waitress actually hit me on the shoulder on the way out because she was unhappy witht her tip. We feel a tip reflects service and withthe service we received she should be grateful for any tip.

    I'm sorry to hear you had such a poor experience there. It makes me sad to hear their quality has deteriorated that far. I haven't been there in around two years, since we haven't been up that way much.

    Unfortunately, I had very bad experience with this Chinese Buffet. Here is my review:

    This Chinese buffet eatery provided bad service. Most of their wait staff did NOT smile at all! Their expression indicated that they were not happy about our dinning at their place. We initially thought it was their usual expression until we saw how they treated other non-Asian customers with BIG smiles. We considered this a racial discrimination—sadly enough they discriminated their own ethnic group.

    Throughout the entire experience, their staff kept walking by and glancing over our table as if they were trying to see when we would finish and leave. We had been there several times and, at least five out of those instances, the waiter took away all our chopsticks and spoons when we were still eating! (We certainly did not put our chopsticks and spoons in our plate or signal anything.) It was very rude! How could we continue eating without our chopsticks? Apparently, they were asking us to lea
