The Grand Cinema in Tacoma, Washington

A Friendly Local Cinema

The Grand Cinema of Tacoma, Washington in downtown is by far one of the best local businesses that caters to many different backgrounds.

The grand Cinema plays main stream and off beat films that will attract all sorts of movie viewers. The three screen theater is in a run-down part of Tacoma, but boasts a staff that is friendly, well educated and knows how to make their clientele enjoy their movie going experience.

General and student prices are less expensive than large corporate theaters.

Lines are short, the seating is comfortable, and the screens are good size.

The theaters are intimate and sound great. Just think MTV's Cribs and the private theaters seen in the celebrities' homes. This is the type of experience you will have at the Grand Cinema.

A nice little note: The concessions stand does not accept credit or debit cards, cash only. The Ticket desk will offer you the option to get cash back. With movies running high budgets that put the smallest of theaters, like the Grand, out of business everyday all across the country, it is a very courteous move to take a little cash back and support the concessions stand. This is where cinemas make a little money.

All told, I would recommend The Grand Cinema to anyone looking for a little fun. Whether you are a avid movie goer, looking for a great date, or just want something to do, The Grand Cinema is the place for your night out!
