The Great American Yard Sale
It seems that a company owned by the royal families of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are making bids to build One World Trade Center. I may be missing something here, but were not the hijackers who pulled off the Sept. 11 attacks from these countries, not to mention that each nation has links to Al Qaeda. What are these idiots at the New York and New Jersey Port Authorities thinking.
It seems little by little we are selling off our nation to who ever wants it. We have out sourced our products and while large corporations have taken jobs out of the United States and away from American workers they still have the best tax plan (in the nation). China currently owns the largest majority of our debt and the majority of our 401K's set in foreign investments and we are told this helps boost our (GDP) here.
It seems that we have had a yard sale for years to help bring up and strengthen our own economy, but at the same time it feels like that if all these foreign owners and investors ever want to cash in then we will be taken over without a shot being fired.
With the current line of thinking one could say if my neighbor burns my house to the ground on purpose and then makes me an offer for my property I should gracefully sale out with no regrets and be thankful he has made the offer?
I do not want to be misunderstood here. One I'm not a racist towards Non-American nations or people. We need global trade to help the global economy, but selling off our debts while we cancel others and selling off United States real estate while we rebuild for other nations is, simply put "STUPID". We have rebuilt every country we have engaged in war with at the American tax payers expense, so much so that when we have a catastrophe inside our own nation we have to rely on donations and fund raisers to assist in the rebuilding. I'm pretty sure when those World Trade Towers came down during 9/11 there was not a whole lot of foreign offers on the table to help us rebuild, we could barely get them to assist in searching for those responsible.
It seems more and more as unemployment rises (contrary to popular belief it is) and our debts grow larger that we can not build one thing in this country that another nation could buy and that our economic structure is such that to get a little cash we will sell even to those who have inflicted the greatest amount of pain on us.

I do not in any form combine all arab people or nations as a whole. The ties to which I mentioned are in direct relation of those bidding on the property. Al-Qaeda is not a governing body as you said but if you will step outside the movie Avatar long enough to see reality they do exist. Your febbel attempt at name calling basically shows you might be in the 5th or 6th grade but taking articles out of context to satisfy your anger thats fine but read the article as it was written not how you think it was wrote. This entire article makes me sad that America still exists, because it churns out citizens like you who don't have a clue about what's happening and believe all of the lies the media and government tell you. Granted, most other countries aren't any better, but you wrote this from America, so that's the fill-in-the-blank country.
You, sir, are a moron. For one thing, no one knows if Al-Qaeda even exists. It's a tool used by the government and media to make it sound like we know what we're doing in the Middle East. Their official excuse for this? "Al-Qaeda is so loosely organized that we can't find them." If they're so loosely organized, how did they pull off a terrorist attack like that? Hmmm...
For another thing, whether you say you're a racist or not, you are. I love how you just lump all Middle Eastern countries together in your assumption that they even had anything at all to do with 9/11 (which again hasn't been shown at all... the 9/11 commission report even admits they have no idea where funding came from). I'm pretty sure if the government did blame Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E., they'd be invading them too by now. But they're not. Because not even the U.S. government is that stupid (though apparently you are).
