Critical Issues on the Table and He Wants to Cancel the Debate. OK!

As Americans listen to the bad news about the state of our economy and brace for the worst, we are all sitting around wondering if the next President of the United States is going to know what to do. Throughout this campaign, we have heard them tell us this and that. From the beginning Barack Obama has said we had serious issues. He attempted to address those. He is still trying. He had his ideas posted online from the beginning.

When John McCain won the tentative nomination, Republicans were not that terribly excited. They backed him, but they were not overwhelmingly supportive. Then Barack Obama won the Democratic nomination. With Hillary out, the Republicans seized the opportunity to try and secure the female vote by making Sarah Palin the VP choice for McCain.

Well that lasted for a minute and then she opened her mouth without the teleprompter. The Charlie Gibson interview was one of the saddest things I have ever seen. The want to portray a strong, intelligent woman who can run a government, but what they portrayed was a classic woman who has more balls than any of her male counterparts but is so limited on anything outside of her limited Alaskan whirlwind experience, she made herself look stupid.

This spectacle for the sake of gaining the woman's vote, was an act of the Republican Party that truly made me pause. Men were not impressed with her. Well, that isn't totally true. A large majority of the male population would love to get her in the sack, but does that count for votes?

If she is the example of the first potential woman VP, then I am embarrassed for the entire population of women in this country. Had she known what the hell she was talking about, such as the woman who would have been an excellent President or whatever, Hillary Clinton, I would have voted my standard Republican and hoped John McCain would resign. But, No Thank You! I don't want a learn on the go person, with that cocky, know everything, arrogant ignorance. I want someone who knows about Washington.

We have experienced numerous ads on TV and interviews with John McCain that tell us he is looking America in the eye and point blank lying. If he is called on it, he gets angry. He changes his mind with every passing wind. The "Fence Straddlers Express" is operating per their standard behavior.

Now, America is on the brink of another "Great Depression". As Sarah Palin told Katie Couric yesterday...She wasn't lying. She was echoing her coach well. That means that your dollar and mine will be only good to light the fire that you are going to have to build to cook that rabbit you went out in the woods and killed so your children can eat today, while your wife carries water from wherever she can to wash it. I realize that 90% of the people who will read this are saying "What"?

Do some research on the Great Depression! It ain't no punk!

In the midst of all of the hype and confusion over this campaign and over this economy, the American people need to know who they can count on. I give a damn about personalities or previous affiliations with whoever! I care about honesty first of all. Stop freaking lying, everybody! If our economy collapses as many foreign countries are predicting, what happens then? America needs truth and true concern for what is happening...Not a political show....Just take care of business..Stop screwing around with our lives.

As an American, I WANT the debate. I want to know which one of these people who are saying trust me, I can do it, is going to actually deliver what they say. Why would John McCain even consider canceling it? He says it is because he wants to focus on the economy. He says the RIGHT thing to do is go back to Washington and help.

Stupid, you HELPED put us where we are today, September 25, 2008......Why do think they need you there now? As in the interview with Katie Couric and Sarah Palin, when asked to name three things John McCain has done over his entire career that were reformist or maverick ideas. Her response was that she would have to get back with her on that...........You are kidding right? Not!

What a show! It isn't about concern for the economy. It is about his fear of this Great Debate.....He doesn't truly know WHAT to do. He has yet to come up with just ONE idea that wasn't already being said way before he got around to it. I guess the wind was blowing his way and he had an instant revelation.

He did a total back stab on his agreement to issue a statement with Obama. He touts bi-partisan beliefs but will do a total turn around in a second.

This debate scares John McCain. That is the point. He is not needed in Washington on Friday night at 9pm. I heard Morning Joe talking about this earlier today. He was saying well you know if they go ahead with the debate that Washington won't get anything done all day on Friday. I love how these Republican supporters from hell can sit there and regardless of how obvious it is that John McCain is a crazy man and Sarah Palin is a clown that makes women look so bad, they will die supporting them...Reason: Republican!

Well, I was a lifetime Republican....What did that accomplish? It made the stupids I voted for rich with a retirement and a health care plan second to none. It made them be able to own 7 houses and 13 cars. Did it help me? Not hardly...

I am an American first. I refuse to be a sheep. If John McCain pursues his efforts to cancel this debate, America better open their eyes to the facts. If canceling it would benefit the country, then cancel. I think it can only help the country. We need to know.
