The Great Reasons to Visit Haulover Beach, Florida

Laura Frost
Just across the street there is a full service Marina, resturants, also tennis courts, a family 9-hole golf course, sundries shops. Also places for those to shower, and changing rooms, you may also rent equipment at the shops along the beach. Also places for you to rent surf fishing gear. On and one other thing, did I mention this is a nude beach?

Haulover is the only beach located in South Florida. Haulover beach is a free beach which attracts visitors from a broad range of different lifestyles from, swingers, naturalists, nudists, and families to nude sunbathers, and gays (there is a section of beach where they gather together).

Of course you don¡¦t have to be nude if that¡¦s not your preference. Though there are many people today, who feel most comfortable naked. So this beach is prefect for those wanting to protect their right to go out in the world just how they were born, nude.

Born 15 years ago by the Florida Naturalists, it was very small, but has steadily grown to where it now populates to over 7000 thousand and that¡¦s just in a single day. The Beach is beautiful with deep white sand. It is very long and about 200 feet from the water. There are many vendors around the beach that serve hotdogs, cokes, and also ice cream. Haulover beach is the only nude beach in the Miami- Dade county and possibly south Florida.

The beach sets in between the Intercostals waterway and the Atlantic Ocean with dunes, shades, and picnic facilities. There are many places to shower, places to fir up the grill, boat ramps, a place to shop for kites and dive equipment.

Haulover Beach, Miami is one of the largest expressions of social nudism is recent and unusual, as people have worn clothes for thousands of years. Even the most unclothed people of earth have covered themselves by painting, piercing, cicatrisation, and tattoos.

Setting place in a beautiful 177 acre park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Tropical Biscayne Bay. The two bodies of water are connected at the south end of the park by an 800¡¦ wide channel of water dredged out years ago and named Baker¡¦s Haulover Cut. So who was this beach named after? Phillip E. Baker, hauled bots over land not far from where the cut is known. Giving the name Haulover Beach Park.

Lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are rules that you must abide by while on the beach. They consist of No glass containers, no cooking, and no pets. Fees include No admission fee, parking is $4 per car, and $10 for R.V.¡¦s and buses. There is a tunnel running from the parking lots to the beaches.

Haulover beach has been a traditional clothing optional location for many years and the local south Florida free beaches association works hard to keep the beach pristine. The beach is guarded by certified lifeguards and group activities include volleyball tournaments and organized events like the Nude New Year¡¦s Eve Party. Haulover beach was named as the number 2 nude beach in the world (after number 1 Montalivent Beach in France) by South Beach Magazine.

Haulover Beach, Miami is a great beach for those who feel social nudism is a choice in their rights and feelings of walking around in the nude the way they were born.

So is it legal? Just because there is a beach that allows nudity, does not mean that Florida allows nudity in public places. There is a Dade County ordinance that allows one to expose naked flesh legally without fear on this marked stretch of beach only.

Haulover beach is a place for people to come and enjoy themselves while also feeling as free as that want to be, and as naked too! ļ

Sloppy article with over 20 typos and some sentences that make no sense. Also, a couple paragraphs are copied word for word from here: http://sites.google.com/site/donbrowne/beaches.
