The Great Tasting Soft Drink Faygo!

Aside form the giants of the Cola industry there are a few rather good small companies that produce great tasting cola, one in particular is a soft drink and flavors by the name of Faygo. Faygo was a company founded in 1907 by two Russian brothers that immigrated to America and their company still stands today. The most interesting things about Faygo are its unique flavors, and the people who endorse the products.

Faygo's company is actually a part of the National Food Company who also own Shasta Cola and they are stationed in Detroit Minnesota. The history of Faygo's flavors is actually the key marketing point of the soda and why such a small business was able to grow along side giants in the industry such as Coke and Pepsi. All the flavors of Faygo started based on cake frosting recipes that the two Russian brothers brought over with them when they moved to America.

Faygo is home to many different and unique flavors, some you may recognize, some you may not, but most of them taste pretty good. Such interesting flavors include, Chocolate Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Candy Apple, Raspberry, Moon Mist, Vanilla Cream Soda, Red Pop, Centennial Soda, Key Lime Pie, and many many more. Aside form the strange and sometimes weird combinations Faygo has to offer there are the subtle soda staples like Orange, Grape, regular Cola, and of course diet versions of many of their flavors.

I won't say that Faygo is a healthy drink, because it's not, in fact most of the flavors, like grape, have no real fruit juice and are all artificially flavored, but at least they tell you outright by printing it almost like they are proud of that fact. There is also a lot of sugar in each product, but nothing can take away from the great taste that Faygo has to offer, and the variety they have in stock.

I was really surprised to learn about one major celebrity endorsement Faygo has going for them. The rapping due, the Insane Clown Posse (ICP) are avid drinkers of the soda as are many of their fans. The group readily endorses Faygo as their favorite soft drink and have even been known to spray mass quantities of the drink into and onto the crowds at their concerts. Even Eminem has even been known to mention Faygo in his music.

Overall Faygo is really a great tasting soda, but with no nutritional value but hey, it's soda, it's really not supposed to be health, just drink in moderation. Their flavors are very good, an there are so many to try it's unbelievable, Faygo has something for everyone.
