The Great Tribulation

Something that a False Prophet Will Not Tell You!

Scripture Lesson: Matthew 24th Chapter

Beginning with Matthew 24:15-28, Jesus speaks about the special signs that will occur during the Great Tribulation. These signs indicates that the end is very near.. These signs will signal the return of Christ as He comes to rapture the church from the earth.

The True Saints of God will not experience the Great Tribuation. We will experience the pre-tribualation and a lot of the horrors that will lead up to the Great tribulation. Jesus will rapture up the church before the Great Tribulaion takes place. (Aren't you glad about this!!!)(Luke 21:36, I Thess 5: 8-10).

Many people say that they have heard of many signs coming to past, from years ago. But, God's time clock is not like our time clock. It is similar to a ball game. We have different seasons, and set times for events to take place. But, regardless of how long these signs take or how many times we see them come to past, they all lead up to the greatest event of all time,Jesus' 2nd return. (I Thessalonians 4: 15-17)

A major sign that is evident today is the rise of many false prophets who, as ministers of Satan, are doing great signs and wonders. (Matthe w 24:24)

Jesus warns us to be aware of these "professional christians and professional prophets". They will be false, but still able to perform wonders that look like real miracles. At the same time, they are rejecting and distorting the true word of God. I do believe that God allows these false prophets to carry on in order for us to learn how to try the spirit by the spirit, and to see how faithful we will remain to God.

Another sign is the strong hardness of people's hearts towards the truth. Many churches have turned away from preaching the truth, and have gone into the business of entertaining thier congregations. (Rap singers, contemporay music, praise dancers, homosexuals preaching the gospel). And any sin is allowed in the house as long as you are paying your tithes.

The sciptures admonishes us to always try the spirit by the spirit of God. (I John 4:1)

(v) 36-"But of that day and hur knoweth no man, no not the angles of heaven..
But my father only". Jesus warned us of the signs, but He did not give us an exact date when He would return again. We really do have to know God;s word and take heed to each sign, and stay prepared so that we will not be left behind.

(v) 37-But of the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Notice how after the flood in Asia, tourist were still arriving, people were still laying on the beach where only a few feet away, people were gathering dead bodies. One man had a drink in his hand, and said plainly "like must go on!" No conviction or concern for what is going on around him.

This is the word of God being fulfilled right before our very eyes.

Two days before this horrific tragedy hit Asia, I had a vision about me and my family. We had been sent to a foreign country to preach the gospel. The gospel was not welcomed in the place where God had sent us. We were tormented, persecuted, and were getting ready to be be-headed.

I remember the dream just like it happened on yesterday. My husband, children and I were waiting our turn to have our heads dismembered for preaching the gospel. I placed my arms around my children and told them to pray and ask God to save them. Plead for their souls. I told them that death would not be anything as long as their souls were right with God. Then, a soldier came and rebuked me for preaching the gospel once again. I looked him square in the eyes and said, "Since I don't have much time to preach it, then let me preach this gospel right now". I began to preach to him about getting his soul right with God. He demanded silence. But, I continued to preach.

I looked towards heaven, in that vision and said, "Lord, if I had known that you were coming back so soon, I would have spent more time with you. I would have prayed more. I would have read more of the word... I would have done this, and done that". The Lord spoke to me and said, "Do it now. Pray while you can and work while you can. I am soon to come".

God bless you all, and remember to stay prayed up

Thank you so much for your comment. It is so sad but true that the good news and the true gospel is an offense to many who claim to be born again.

Wow...in a world that is becoming increasingly anti-Christian/Jesus....Bravo for writing this article. I've had dreams like those too. They aren't fun but they certainly keep us on our toes to spread the word. I find it so interesting how the gospel is so incredibly offensive to those who do not know the Lord...yet the very same gospel is the absolute best news ever to those of us who are blessed to have chosen a life with our Living God.
