Many of us watch these classic Christmas films year after year because they never loose their appeal. If it's been awhile since you have watched one of these classic Christmas films, set aside a little time and reconnect with your Christmas spirit. Christmas Films

It's A Wonderful Life - Produced in 1946. Starring: James Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell, Henry Travers.
Wonderful story of Stewart's character, who works hard all his life in a small town. He makes one major mistake and plans to suicide. Clarence, the guardian angel arrives to show Stewart that his life was indeed a valuable one and had contributed so much towards other people's happiness and success. It concludes on Christmas day.

Miracle On 34TH Street - Produced in 1947. Starring: Maureen O'Hara, John Payne, Edmund Gwenn, Gene Lockhart, Natalie Wood.
Gwenn, playing Kris Kringle works in Macy's who faces a child (Wood) who does not believe. He then goes to trial to prove he is Santa.

A Christmas Carol - Produced in 1951. Starring: Alastair Sim, Jack Warner, Kathleen Harrison, Mervyn Johns, Hermione Baddeley,Clifford Mollison.
Sim is outstanding as Scrooge. It is an excellent portrayal of Charle Dickens' famous Christmas classic.

White Christmas - Produced in 1954. Starring: Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, Dean Jagger,Mary Wickes.
Kaye and Crosby play war-time buddies who sing, dance and fall in love with Vera-Ellen and Rosemary Clooney.

Scrooge - Produced in 1970. Starring: Albert Finney, Alec Guiness, Edith Evans, Kenneth More, Lawrence Naismith, Michael Medwin, David Collings.
Entertaining musical version of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". Finney is Scrooge and Guiness is Marley's ghost.

A Christmas Story - Produced in 1983. Starring: Peter Billingsley, Darren McGavin, Melinda Dillon, Ian Petrella, Scott Schwartz, Tedde Moore.
Movie about growing up the 1940s. Billingsley plays the young boy and we discover the simple yearnings, like wanting to own a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas.

Animated Christmas Shows

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - Produced in 1964. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is an old classic with Burl Ives as the narrator. This show tells the story of an outcast reindeer, an aspiring-dentist elf, and an island of misfit toys who help Santa save Christmas.

A Charlie Brown Christmas - Produced in 1965. Charlie Brown nurtures the thinnest, scraggliest Christmas tree ever. At first the gang makes fun of Charlie for choosing such an ugly tree for the holiday but a timely assist from Linus makes the true message of the season come shining through. Everyone realizes in the end that a little affection can make all the difference in the world... even to a tree.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas - Produced in 1966. This is a Dr. Seuss Christmas cartoon classic. The Grinch has a terrible, awful plan to steal all of the presents from the Who's down in Who ville, but he is surprised to learn that Christmas is more than he thought it was.

Frosty The Snowman - Produced in 1969. An animated cartoon about Frosty the snowman, who springs to life when the children place a magic hat upon his head.
