Tonya Schuller is a local Colorado Springs resident who went to Intellitec Medical School and received her Certification in Massage Therapy. After registering with the State of Colorado, fine tuning her skills for several years and deciding on her area of specialization, she opted to start her own business. With the help of the Look of Love Beauty Salon in the Satellite Hotel, she has officially set up shop. As an Independent Contractor, her goal is to build a clientele base that will grow over the course of time.

Tonya and I sat down to talk about her experience, her ideas and her goals for this life choice. A beautiful, auburn haired, young woman, with a clear vision of what she wants and where she is headed, Tonya told me she loves what she does. She decided to get the education at Intellitec Medical and to use that, along with her love of the healing powers of massage, to build a successful business here in the Springs.

Tonya said that with access to such a lovely salon, it has given her the chance to get the business started the right way. The people who have had the pleasure of getting a massage from Tonya, have given rave reviews. Tonya told me her specialty is Deep Tissue Massage and Swedish Relaxation Massage .
For those who are not familiar with what the benefits are with these two particular types of massage, here is a breakdown. Deep Tissue Massage is one of the most widely used methods to help with chronic muscular pain, injury rehabilitation and inflammation associated with tendinitis or arthritis.
The Swedish Relaxation Method is beneficial in improving circulation, which also helps in healing and swelling from injuries. This method incorporates a combination of rolling, kneading, percussive and tapping movements along with the use of oils. If you have never had the experience of having either one of these types of massages, you are definitely in for the treat of your life. Both types are heavenly and very beneficial to your health. You come out refreshed and rejuvenated.

As Tonya begins her career of "Business Owner", there are many obstacles that she knows she will face. Among those is the climate of the current financial situation, the country is in. Small businesses everywhere are vying for customers to keep them afloat. Another local situation is the recent influx of the "Massage Professionals".

Due to job losses and other circumstances, Colorado Springs appears to have more massage businesses than larger cities nearby. What does Tonya feel will set her apart from this mass exodus of people in this field? Tonya knows that with these mountains ahead, she has to be better and have more to offer than anyone else. She knows that she has to use her Customer Service skills and her love of people to bring the customers in. She is dedicated to keeping up with the latest news and information in the massage world. In doing this, she will give her customers a better product and better service all around. From the second they call her for an appointment until the second they leave, Tonya offers pampering and total customer satisfaction. Her magic touch is unlike any other in the Springs area.

If you have always wanted to get a massage but thought it was too expensive or too much hassle, stop for a minute and call Tonya at 719-217-5151. You can also send her an email at: TonyS09@yahoo.com. Let her change your mind about the beauty of a good massage. She offers appointments Monday thru Saturday, 9 am-7 pm. Call her personally and let her schedule you for a trip to total relaxation and healing. Her Deep Tissue Massage is a deal at $45 and the Swedish Relaxation Massage is unbelievable at $40.

Tonya is also offering a free massage if you refer 5 people who come in for a massage. Tell Tonya you saw her review on this site for a 10% discount. Check out this great local business in Colorado Springs. You will be happy that you did. Guaranteed.
