The Hall of Lust: Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana, you don't even have to pronounce her name properly and I'll know who you are talking about. There isn't exactly a long list of Zoes in my mind's database. I didn't know how to spell it when I started this article, good thing I decided to play editor for once, else I'd be talking about a gorgeous woman named Zoe Salanda instead.

Zoe Saldana first came to my attention in the movie "Cloverfield." I enjoyed that movie on the first run through and watching her run through the city brought an extra element of sexiness to all of the disaster. Where she really got the ole hormones burning though was in the trailer for the movie "The Losers." I could tell right away that the movie would indeed be a "loser," but Zoe Saldana brought sexy to the violence in that sneak peek. It is her fault that I actually rented the movie when it was released to Blu-ray and Dvd. I cannot blame her for how terrible the movie really was, but I can blame her for being too sexy for my own good. Stick to the trailer footage, kiddos.

The reboot of the "Star Trek" franchise was the very first "Star Trek" anything that I ever actually found entertaining. Actually, I take that back, cheesy old footage of William Shatner fighting lizard men is kind of funny on Youtube. Zoe Saldana was looking as attractive as ever in "Star Trek" and I hope they decide to carry on with more sequels and more of her.

The James Cameron Craptasterpiece "Avatar" features Zoe Saldana as a blue CGI alien. Doesn't sound all that appealing, right? Wrong. Even though you cannot see her nice brown skin and are given a blue freak instead, you still want to get freaky. Seriously, Zoe Saldana's sex appeal was pumped right through the animation and the screen. Too bad someone could not have pumped a better plot into the movie. I walked out of the theater during "Avatar," figuring I would get my dose of blue Zoe on the small screen via rental. "Avatar" was still a fail for me as a home rental, maybe I was missing too much, having attempted both viewings non-3D.

Zoe Saldana needs to be featured in some better movies and bigger roles, and soon. Otherwise the temptation to go back and watch her in the Britney Spears movie "Crossroads" may overpower my commonsense. A man in need of his Zoe fix may turn to desperate measure. Or he may just switch to Zooey Deschanel because that's how a man's brain works.
