you see...
what no one else's can,
you hear...
what you don't see,
you feel...
what you can't hear,
you scream...
no one hears,
you're afraid...
no one cares,
you fight...
the unseen,
you're alone...
trembling in the dark,
suddenly...
a speck,
distant at first,
getting nearer,
growing bigger,
glowing brighter,
a light!

Wow!... The rhythm leaves you breathless!
This is chilling! Great work. :-)
a light at the end of the emotional tunnel can only be good, or it could just be a guy with a flashlight who can help light your way for a bit
What an intriguing poem!
Love this and can't we all relate to that moment and the moment before?
cool one!
I've known times when I have looked for that light, and hoped that it wouldn't turn out to be a train. Good poem, Tussy.
