The Health Benefits of Spinach

Melvin Richardson
Imagine walking down the street when all of a sudden you stop and pull out a container of spinach and start munching on it. That's what Popeye did. You remember Popeye and his girlfriend Olive oil don't you? He was always getting into skirmishes with Brutus. For the most part Brutus would beat the living daylights out of Popeye. That is until Popeye would utter his famous motto, "that's all I can stand and I can't stands no more. Then he would pull out a can of spinach and rip it open and suck down the contents in a matter of seconds.

After this he would start to beat Brutus and defeat him in a heart beat. Now I ask you did Popeye know something that we don't. What is the big deal about Spinach anyway?
