The Health Care Reform - Two Votes from Destroying Our Country

The House progressive Democrats are two votes from destroying our health care system. As they get closer to getting this legislation done, I realize more and more that they don't care about our country, or the people in it. Most of them don't even know what's in the bill.

With all of the back room deals, and vote buying to get this done. Corruption is the word that comes to mind. Now the slaughter solution is going to be used to make it look like their not voting on a bill that most Americans don't want. At this time 53% OF Americans are against this bill.

This according a Rasmussen Reports poll. Still the progressive Democrats push this horrendous bill on the people. The people realize that all of this has to be paid for; and most of them worry that it will be paid for by them. This bill has a clause that makes it mandatory to have health insurance.

This is one of the ways of paying for this overhaul of the health care system. There are still a lot of back room deals being made to get this thing to pass. They fail to understand that Americans love the constitution. And they hate to see the progressives circumvent it.

As they ram it through the house it continues to make news. With the democrats wavering between yes and no. Pelosi pushes them harder to vote her way, as I have said in earlier articles, this has nothing to do with heath car. It has to do with certain people wanting to make a name for themselves.

While doing a wonderful thing for a progressive democrat. Taking over 1/5 of the United States economy. Take a good hard look at what happens when the government takes things over. Do some research and see how it usually goes, it's not a good thing.

According to our constitution the states are supposed to retain the majority of the control over themselves. In this alone this bill seems unconstitutional to me; as the democrats trot all of these people with their sad stories out in front of the press. Nothing in this bill takes affect until 2014.

Although we have to start paying for it before then. This is more of the smoke and mirrors that I keep eluding to: when was the last time you paid for something in advance? When you go buy a car, do they hold it on the lot for five years before you can drive it?

I am not coming at this from a partisan view. I'm coming at it from the view of an American citizen. I'm not a writer for some big magazine, or news station. Although I feel that more people need to be paying attention to what's happening with this.

If the Americans don't start to open their eyes our country will be hit with a huge wrecking ball. The Americans in our country feel that the congress should be working to help fix our economy. This by no means will help fix the economy.

I think of it a bit different though, I feel the all congress needs to do is lower taxes, and create some benefits for business. Both small and large, and then let the free market do work it's magic. But these idiots feel that they have to stick their noses in everything.

I agree with most of what the economists are saying in this country. It's going to get worse before it gets better. With these progressive democrats in office now, it will get much much worse. Unless the American people do something to stop it.

You have heard them say that this bill won't cost you a dime, but it makes no sense. When you think of what they plan to do: they are seeking to cover about 45 million Americans with government health insurance. And all this for free, without putting the country farther in debt, yeah right.

They say it won't cost you a dime, but if you don't buy their mandatory insurance coverage you'll be charged $2,200 dollars. The IRS is going to be in charge of making you pay the $2,200 per year. If you don't it could mean jail time, or garnishments, or both.

This all sounds mighty American to me, how about you. I think we turned the corner somewhere along the way and ended up in a socialist/communist country. The government is now telling you how to spend the money that you can't make, because of the unemployment situation in our country.

But they don't care that you don't have the money, they want to take over health care at any cost. They don't even care if they lose their jobs in congress. I'm going to use my favourite analogy here; this is like two little kids fighting over a big toy, no it's mine, not yours; mine.

The problem here is that this is not a toy, it's our country's health care system. And our countries economy at stake here. This is not a Tonka truck, or a Barbie doll; this could very well determine the future of this country for years to come.

It's time to speak up and let them know what you think. Even though they most likely don't care what you think; it's the only thing that we as Americans can do; we must all be on the same page here. Go back to our constitution and learn what it says, and what it means to this country.

Don't let the progressives pull the vale of health care reform over your eyes. It's time to see it for what it is: a take over by the government of our health care system. With sweet heart deals for the unions on their Cadillac health care plans, smoke and mirrors, and back room deals.

All done behind closed doors so the people can't see the slide of hand. These people are better illusionists then David Copperfield; they have a lot of people fooled. C'mon people open your eyes, do it before it's too late, these people only care about themselves.
