The Health Care System Farce - Why Americans Will Never Be Healthy

Is the Health Care System Designed to Keep Americans Ill?

John Savage
The American health care system is designed to keep people ill, and I'll tell you why. Our health care system, and its' subsequent health insurers are duping millions of Americans into buying into their deceptive system of care. Where one would expect to see a doctor in order to get well, one is lucky if their doctor pushes more pills, made of dangerous synthetic chemicals, on them. Just pay attention to some of the more recent commercials on T.V. selling these "wonder drugs". Side effects may include dizziness, stomach bleeding, heart attack or stroke, and in some rare cases, death. Is it worth all that to cover up some minor symptom like erectile dysfunction? Obviously the millions of people taking these drugs think so.

So why is it that doctors, who are supposedly trained to save lives, and cure the sick, would want to keep us sick, or even make us sicker? The all mighty dollar is the answer. It is more "cost effective" to keep a patient coming back; it's good for the bottom line. Why do you think you can buy a PC for a few hundred dollars, when a heart monitor costs tens of thousands of dollars? Think about it, hospitals charge $4.00 and up for two Tylenol when you can easily buy a bottle of a hundred for the same price. It's lunacy. I've read that in ancient China, the family doctor got paid only when the family was well. If a family member were ill then the doctor would stop receiving payment until that family member was well again. What would that do to our health care system? I bet it would be a lot different than today.

I have my own experience to site as well. I have several problems with my back including, stenosis, scoliosis, herniated disks, pinched nerves, and bone spurs. Do you think my doctors have done anything to try to fix my back? No, they simply have me come in every month, order more tests, which I'm sure they get some kind of a kick back on, and write another script for more pain pills, again more than likely another kick back. So what makes me sure that they get "kickbacks"? I've seen it for myself.

When I worked at a hardware store, which I will not name here, A pharmaceutical company hosted a special event for doctors. They rented the store, closing it to other customers, gave the doctors hefty gift certificates, and spread out a wonderful display of refreshments. Why would a pharmaceutical company want to do this? They did it to promote their product. Mind you this is a somewhat minor example compared to those you may have heard, or read, about, but it is one I have witnessed with my own eyes.

If you look at the record of the FDA you will find further evidence of this corrupt system. In this country the FDA has approved many drugs, and food additives that are outlawed in other countries. Why would these drugs and such be legalized here but not in these other countries? Because they make you sick. Which is just fine if your health care system is designed to make a fat profit in people who are sick. However, if you are living in a country where socialized medicine is the norm, than making people sick isn't cost effective. Is that the reason why the FDA refuses to investigate herbal remedies that have been in use around the world for centuries? Maybe it is because herbs are widely available without a prescription from your doctor or having to purchase it from some big pharmaceutical company, who by the way, pays the FDA big bucks to approve.

I'll end this article with a quote, by Mike Adams, that I think sums it all up nice and tidy.

"As long as junk food companies and pharmaceutical companies are allowed to run advertisements on television, and as long as the FDA and FTC continue their campaigns of censorship against nutritional cures and natural remedies, we will always have a health care crisis. You know why? Because no nation in the world can afford to foot the bill for a country full of sick people."
