The Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo in Webster Groves, Missouri

The Healthy Planet Natural Living Expo has been a tradition in St. Louis, Missouri for 18 years. On Sunday, February 28, 2010, the expo will host more than 70 exhibitors again at the Webster Groves Recreation Center in Webster Groves, Missouri. The event is aimed at providing consumers with an abundance of information for living healthier lives and going green in daily living.

Organic and Natural food samples will be provided by many of the venders including Schnucks Markets, Whole Foods Market, and Sappington Farmers Market. "Berhanu Organic is a Missouri food company producing organic, vegan, kosher and gluten free foods. Founder and owner Sine Berhanu draws upon her Ethiopian cultural and culinary heritage to create unique recipes that are healthy and delicious." They will have their Ah!Zeefa lentil dip at their booth. (Ah!Zeefa is a ready-to-eat lentil spread or dip prepared from certified organic Black Beluga Lentils, fresh limes, olive oil, sea salt and other fresh vegetables.) In addition to healthy eating, exhibitors will provide information on how to make your living or work space energy efficient, how to identify environmentally friendly cosmetics, or how to start your own "green" business. You can get a free chair massage and spinal screening too.

There will be live music, wine and beer tasting, and tons of give-a-ways. According to Healthy Planet Magazine, "the first 300 guests will receive a free reusable tote bag." There will be an Amtrak Ticket Giveaway and a weekend vacation at the YMCA Trout Lodge in the Lake of the Ozarks that is worth $600.

The Healthy Planet Magazine has a two for one coupon for the event. You can pick one up at any entry to Schnucks or Dierbergs Market in St. Charles or St. Louis, Missouri.

Admission is $8.00 for adults 16 and over. Under 16 is free. The event will start at 10 am and last until 4pm.
