The Hermitage Hotel is a nine story brick building that has been around ever since 1910. The terra cotta detailed building has housed very important and prestigious guest such as State Legislatures. Recently the Hermitage Hotel has received a renovation to the tune of 17 million dollars enhancing its beauty even more.

The rooms are spacious with ceilings 10 feet high and some of them offer views of the State Capital Building plus the Capital Square. They are decorated in the earth tones of cream and oatmeal and have a great attention to detail that help create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are furnished with desks that are equipped with various high speed lines. The writing paper is held within leather portfolios and the note pads are even set atop leather bases. The bedrooms are also furnished with beautiful wooden armoires that hold generously sized TVs and DVD players. Guests can feel at ease in the uncluttered rooms that offer a lot of space with the remaining furniture being an ottoman, a couch and a chair to read in. individuals will find walk in closets that have been carefully furnished with a lighted full length mirror, robes and even umbrellas.

Confident in his perfectly seasoned food the chief has had all extra seasonings removed from the tables but if desired you may ask the waiters for them. In past history the Francis Craig Orchestra has performed here for many years. They could be seen during 1929-1945 which is the longest amount of time that any house orchestra has performed.
