Spencer Pratt didn't crash The Hills finale, but he did throw his own send-off party right across the street! Outspoken celebrity blogger and critic, Perez Hilton, was on hand to interview Spencer Pratt outside The Hills finale in Los Angeles Tuesday night. The Hills Finale: You Never Knew Live Television Could Be So Boring...Thank Goodness For Perez!

Why did Spencer Pratt have to be interviewed from across the street from The Hills finale by gossip queen, Perez Hilton, instead of being up on The Hills finale stage along with Lauren and Audrina and Brody? Because he's batshit crazy, of course! At this point, all MTV insurance policies probably include a clause banning him from being in any sort of contact with MTV property or cast members due to liability risks.

Though The Hills may be a scripted television show, the persona Spencer Pratt has crafted over the years can only be so much acting. Some of that teetering-on-the-edge-of-a-full-mental-break stuff has to be for real; nobody's that good. Nobody. (Get a glimpse of what crazy looks like! Thankfully, Spencer Pratt was a good little boy tonight, and maintained his 100 feet of distance from The Hills live finale event. Heidi was nowhere to be seen, and her sister Holly said she hadn't talked to her since September. A Spiedi-free finale made for a rather predictable, boring, montage-and-sappy-music filled send off; but (and I don't say this often) thank goodness for Perez Hilton! Without him, we may have been deprived of seeing Spencer's new hair do (inspired by Albert Einstein and that unfortunate Nick Nolte mug shot from 2002).

And though we are already aware of what depths of madness Spencer Pratt has sunk to, he made a promise outside The Hills finale tonight: we ain't seen nothin' yet! Seems a whole new brand of crazy may be on the way....Stay tuned!
