The History of the Mumps

The mumps is actually a virus that causes parotid swelling of the glands below the ear and extending below the jaw. Symptoms include fever, general aches, and sore throat. It may also effect other organs causing inflammation of the testes, ovaries, pancreas or the brain, (meningitis), however all the symptoms typically clear up 100%.

The mumps are contagious through salivary fluid via coughing or sneezing or other forms of contact. It is contagious for about 9 days from the time the first symptoms appear. Close living quarters provide and excellent opportunity for this virus to become epidemic such as apartment complexes and dorm life provide an excellent vehicle for this virus to spread.

The vaccines for mumps are basically ineffective. Mumps cases are on the rise in the Midwest, and most of those who have caught the virus have been vaccinated for it. Vaccines were first designed with the intent of making an individual immune to the disease, but vaccines are not the same as catching the disease, instead they are trickery to the immune system and as we are learning over time, they do not provide immunity, thus the name has changed from immunizations to vaccines because the term immunizations was and is misleading. This is one reason why I take a strong stand against vaccines is because the only immunity to most illnesses is to catch the illness through natural means and vaccines are phony and do not work, yet they introduce into the body many toxic substances and carcinogens for which only time will tell us if we have created a human time bomb. I see this as similar to jumping from a plane to see if the impact will kill me or not, I for one will not jump, (without a parachute), from a plane, nor will I take this leap of faith that is basked in a toxic cocktail, but to each his own.

The history of the mumps took a turn in the years 2004 and 2005 showing an increase in the disease, and in 2005 a large epidemic occurred in Iowa and Oklahoma. The problem with vaccines as I see it is they produce a dependency on themselves. Death due to mumps is very rare but most fatal cases are in individuals over the age of 19. So we get the mumps vaccine which in itself can be potentially harmful to ward off the illness until we are older when the disease is far more dangerous, instead of getting the mumps as children and being immune for life. Now once adulthood is reached you either risk the possibility of catching an illness your body cannot fight as easily as it could in youth, or you dependently get vaccinated for a host of diseases bathed in toxic and carcinogenic chemicals until you die of old age, (if you're lucky), or from the vast amounts of toxic chemicals you have injected into your body.

Disclaimer: This article, "The History of the Mumps", is not intended to give medical advice. It is a call to educate yourself about disease and vaccines so that in making a decision where your child is concerned, you should take an active role in learning all you can from medical experts on both sides of the fence, then make an educated decision. we did not make an informed decision until one son got Leukemia and another developed Autism immediately after receiving his MMR vaccine. This has sent us on a quest to inform ourselves and others to seriously question what kind of toxic soups are being injected with the vaccines. Odds are if your child is injured by a vaccine, you have little or no recompense against the industry.
