The Market consists of about 15 shops that are open year round, as well as over sixty shops that are open on the weekends only as a part of the flea market. Each weekend vendors pack the field and sell their goods at yard sale prices. The market shops include Great Expectations a bookstore and cafe. Gold and Things is a lovely jewelry store, the Appalachian Art and Craft store features local artists work for purchase. The Shake Shop features ice cream, milk shakes and light snacks. Also a coffee shop, a fudge shop, a boutique and a massage parlor are open year round and daily. The Spring Street Antique Mall is also located here and this is a terrific antique store. It is easy to spend a few hours browsing the treasures from the past. There is an adorable antique barn and a leather shop on the grounds as well. The Route 33 diner is located at the Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market also; this is a unique old-fashioned silver diner complete with a jukebox and a 1950's theme. Recently an outdoor store, Rockbridge Outfitters, has opened up in the beautiful barn at the Farmers Flea Market.
The seasonal shops include antiques, Avon, baked goods, woodworking, new and used VHS tapes and DVDS. Also fantastic hand poured candles, body jewelry, beanie babies, tools, and incense awaits your discovery. New shops are always opening and inventory changes frequently. The Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market is one of the best places in Hocking County. It is a fun family friendly atmosphere. You will see thousands of unique items, and frequently free entertainment is provided at the gazebo.
The Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market is always growing and is open from March until mid December from 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. It is a great place to spend a couple of hours and find your treasures at unbelievably low prices. This is also a great place to hold your next yard sale. It costs ten dollars per day for outside spaces. Friday it is free to set up. Every weekend there is a large crowd and you will definitely sell a lot of your unwanted items.
