The Holiday Inn at Riverton, Wyoming is a 'Comfy' Place to Stay!

Riverton, Wyoming is a quaint western town, situated in the middle of the Wind River Indian Reservation, surrounded by the Wind River Mountain Range to the south and west, and the Owl Creek Range to the north. This little town boasts a population of 36,000 (+/-), has all the amenities of a larger city, but manages to maintain the small town feel. Riverton's location on the Indian Reservation has brought in Casino's that offer entertainment and a vast assortment of restaurants, all serving great food.

At day's end, after tourist activities and that great food mentioned above, one needs a place to lay their head. The Holiday Inn of Riverton is just the place.

Currently this hotel is undergoing updates to the rooms and facilities, but this writer is amazed at how well maintained and quiet the hotel is during construction. The furnishings and bedding are up-to-date, and the hotel has even provided a list of pillows to choose from to help make your rest more satisfying. I ask you, what more could you need or want at the end of a busy day? The perfect pillow!

There is more though, i.e., room service and an indoor pool!! It is just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing stay whether for a family, a business trip, or for a night alone while traveling. This hotel provides room service throughout the day, plus there is a restaurant creating made to order breakfast as well as tasty lunch specials.

The bar off the lobby is a great place for an after dinner drink offering a cozy place to unwind from the day. The pool is fantastic! Situated in the main lobby area the pool provides relaxing exercise and entertainment for the whole family no matter what the Wyoming weather has to offer.

This Holiday Inn in Riverton, Wyoming can provide conference facilities for business meetings, wedding packages (including reception facilities and Honeymoon Suites), and accommodations for family reunions. Again, time of year or weather does not matter because the pool is always just the right temperature.

There is a guest laundry area on the second floor, and a fitness room is located just off the pool area in the main lobby.

The hotel location is great if you enjoy walking. You can head downtown to Main Street where there are eateries and shops; the walk being about four city blocks. Between downtown and the hotel there are other restaurants including Chinese and steak houses, as well as fast food places. Walgreen's Drugs is located right across the street from the Holiday Inn.

Riverton, Wyoming has a small airport with services daily to Denver, Colorado making this an easy place to fly in and out of for business or pleasure. The Holiday Inn provides a free shuttle service for your added stress-free convenience.

The surrounding mountain ranges make this little town of Riverton, Wyoming a memorable stop, and this Holiday Inn definitely is a good choice for any traveler. (A downside note: this facility is not pet friendly. (Drat!) If you are without animals, this writer feels this is a great place to stay.)
