You will recognize the Hollywood Brown Derby by the large brown bowler hat, as the restaurant is a wonderful replica of the Hollywood original, both inside and out. You will dine among the character drawings of some of your favorite film and television stars. The experience of dining at the Hollywood Brown Derby is something you will never forget.
The menu is not all that large and the prices are fairly steep, but the food is outstanding. I suggest the filet mignon, which comes with roasted red potatoes (or, as I prefer, french fries). You can enjoy beer, wine, or spirits from the Hollywood Brown Derby's full-service bar, and I would be remiss not to mention their desserts. Heed these words: Save room.
One terrific way to save on your visit to the Hollywood Brown Derby is to purchase a Disney's Dining Experience card, which will save you twenty percent on each visit for an entire year. The Disney's Dining Experience Card will also save you twenty percent on numerous other fabulous restaurants within the Walt Disney World resort area.
Another suggestion which you would do best to follow is to call ahead for priority seating. The number is 1-800-WDW-DINE. Just as you will wait more than an hour to ride the Rock N' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, you will also have to wait for a table at the Hollywood Brown Derby, if you do not have reservations. So be sure to call ahead.
With spectacular dishes, impeccable service, and an unforgettable atmosphere, the Hollywood Brown Derby is a must-visit for every guest to the MGM Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida. Be sure to take a look at the guest book to see which famous celebrities have recently dined at the Hollywood Brown Derby. And take a look around the restaurant, because you may very well spot a celebrity dining while you are there.
The Hollywood Brown Derby is the perfect cap to a long day at MGM Studios, so call ahead and reserve a table. You won't regret it!

Post a CommentThe original Brown Derby was famous for their booths that were low enough to see who else was eating in the Derby. I was disappointed to see tables. It would be nice to have a true reproduction.
I would so love to eat there! I am bookmarking this article for our next trip to Disney~Thanks!
Wonderful review! I didn't get a chance to try this restaurant the past couple times I've been to Disney. I must make it back down there :)
