The honeybee gunman. Manhunt for Shooter. Sketch. Description
Illinois/Indiana shootings.

Dubbed the honeybee gunman by the media, the above sketch is for a suspect in the shootings of at least 3 rural Illinois/Indiana people, 1 fatally. The following is from the Lake County Indiana sheriff's department:

BE ON THE LOOK OUT:
Male/White 30-40 years old, app. 5'8'', 200 - 220 lbs, short brown hair with a 5 o'clock shadow. The suspect was last seen wearing a light green windbreaker, light colored jeans, and a ball cap. Suspect is considered armed and dangerous. DO NOT attempt to apprehend this individual but rather contact your local police department by dialing 911.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a Chevy Cheyenne pickup older type model light blue/gray in color possible primer.

This suspect is committing random shootings. He approached 2 men working construction and asked them about plywood and wood shavings. He then pulled a gun and shot them. The gunman also shot a farmer after questioning him about honeybees. 1 victim died, 1 is listed as critical and 1 is in serious condition. 1 farmer reportedly ran into a cornfield and got away from the gunman.

What the honeybee and plywood/wood shavings questions had to do with the shootings is unclear. Residents along the Illiniois/Indiana border are nervous. Only 1 victim was robbed and that was reportedly $60.00. With no clear reason to the shootings residents are afraid to do business as usual.

Illinois and Indiana authorities have created a task force and are working together to track down and apprehend the honeybee gunman. Ballistics tests revealed that the same gun was probably used in the shootings. They believe this gun to be a .38 caliber or .357 caliber Colt revolver.

Honeybees have been dwindling in numbers over the last few years. Is the gunman somehow in an activist role? Genetically engineered crops have been blamed for the honeybee decline. Is that why he was questioning farmers about them? Plywood is a pretty standard wood for use in and around honeybee hives. Honeybees are even shipped in plywood crates.

Whatever the reason, the honeybee gunman is still on the loose. If you think you have spotted him, please contact the police and do not try to apprehend him. Remember that the gunman is armed and has proved himself to be dangerous. He is has also been described as mentally unbalanced.

Mentally unbalanced to say the least! If a man asks me about honeybees, I'm fleeing the scene. Thanks for this information. God bless the victims and their families. I pray he is caught before there are even more victims. ℳ.ℋ.

The honeybee issue sounds crazy enough to be the explanation for the shootinga! Great article!

Sounds like this guy is a sandwich short of his picnic basket. I don't understand these random killings/shootings and things I always ask why and well no one ever gives us a good enough answer
