The Honolulu Screamer is a high speed, twin jet, water propelled jet boat that flies with speeds up to 40 miles per hour! With 1420 horse power, twin diesel Caterpillar engines, you will fly across the water in this boat. You will be entertained by the music playing from the 20 speaker system. But it might not be able to drown out your screaming! As you can see in the picture , this boat is a bright green color, hard to miss. As we were looking out into the ocean one morning we saw this boat flying across the ocean! All of a sudden the boat did a 180 degree turn. The front of the Honolulu Screamer dipped into the ocean. This is a ride where you are guaranteed to get wet. So make sure you bring a towel. You might want to leave your hat and glasses at the hotel. Buy a disposable camera. No need to worry about ruining your good camera if it gets wet. Because this is such an extreme ride, there are some safety rules to be followed. Absolutely no pregnant women are allowed to ride the Screamer. Absolutely no people with heart conditions, back injuries or those who are susceptible to back injury are allowed to ride. All riders must be at least 40" and children must be able to sit in their seat without assistance. If you are susceptible to motion sickness, either take something to prevent it or don't ride this boat. This is not a casual ride in the ocean to see the coastline. This is extreme!
The Honolulu Screamer has been in business since October 6, 2006. It is Hawaii's first and only group passenger high speed jet boat. Owner, Greg Longnecker, said the jet boat idea came to him in a dream. He had no idea how to fund his project or even build this boat. So he left it in God's hands. Within 6 months he was on his way to building his dream boat. Two years and 1 million dollars later, the Screamer was transported from New Jersey to California and arrived in Honolulu aboard a ship. He has painted this bible verse on the side of his boat, "For with God, nothing shall be impossible." (Luke 1:37)

Sounds good.
What a thrill. I'm up for it!
Sounds fun!
Sounds too scary for me!
I lived in HI. Too afraid to do this
wow that sounds great, but for me I think I would ride a little more sedately.
they had something like this when we visited Florida. It was sacry to me, going so fast and jumping the waves.
If you go to Hawaii, don't go to Honolulu and especially Waikiki. I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and those tourist traps are the least interesting places to go. The boatride sounds like fun however. Great article.
woa!!!!!!!
