The Hottest Actors of All Time

This one will certainly cause quite a debate. Choices will definitely be mixed, as male readers will pick hottest female actors, and female readers will pick hottest make actors. Additionally decision for inclusion in the top 20 will depend on age. How many 20 year olds tend to lust after 60 year old men, not very many I am guessing. I will try to provide a list that covers male and female choices. Hotness has been defined as someone who causes you sexual excitement so I guess the 20 below fulfil this category. I found it hard to pick my top 20 and names were definitely inserted, deleted and moved around a few times.

Here goes:-

1) Tom Cruise

Probably not everyone's first choice, and possibly not even in many people's lists but this guy certainly did it for me in the 80s. I was only a child but I was besotted with him. I watched Topgun and Cocktail over and over again; two of his best movies. He has definitely lost his sex appeal in the last five years but 20 years ago he was extremely sexy with eyes to die for. I would have loved to have been and been in that waterfall with him.

2) Brad Pitt

Will this man ever age, can you believe he is now 45? He just seems to get better and better looking as the years go on. I especially loved him in Troy (you cannot beat an action hero) and in the Ocean's sequels.

3) Jesse Metcalfe

Jesse shot to fame playing the gardener in Desperate Housewives. Dirty overalls never did it for me before until I seen Jesse. Week in week out I was glued to the show for glimpses of him.

4) Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo caught my eye in Titantic, possibly one of the saddest stories ever. Him and Kate Winslet put on a great show and made this film one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. I went to the cinema a few times to see this and then bought it as soon as it hit the shops. Even better was his performance in Romeo and Juliet, another of my favourite love stories.

5) Orlando Bloom

Orlando is quite simply tall, dark and handsome. He is famous for his roles in The Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

6) Jake Gyllenhaal

Jake is perhaps not as popular as other big screen names but will always be remembered for his role in Brokeback Mountain alongside the late and great Heath Ledger.

7) Colin Farrell

Colin is your typical bad boy and this makes him extremely appealing. He is full of Irish charm and has spent his career being surrounded by scandal. His movie roles of late have been few and far between, but he was particularly hot in Daredevil.

8) Ashton Kutcher

All I can say is Demi Moore is a very lucky woman to be on the arm of the gorgeous Ashton. He is a bit of a comedian as well as a former model, the guy is multi-talented. I especially loved his role in 'The Butterfly Effect'.

11) Angelina Jolie

Possibly the top of all the guy's lists. Angelina rocketed to fame wearing those tight bodysuits in Tomb Raider. She made every guy's fantasy come true in film Gia where she played a lesbian and continues to take part in movies despite her growing brood of children. She really is superwoman,

12) Salma Hayek

Despite being in her 40s her curvaceous figure has earned her many male admirers.

13) Eva Longoria

Amazing actress who shone every week on Desperate Housewives. Her storyline with Jesse a few years ago had me hooked. Eva really does have it all, dark Latin looks, a husband to die for, a successful career and a never ending wardrobe.
