2008 Patriot's Point 4th of July Blast!

You'll find much more than fireworks at Charleston Harbor on July 4th. Expect a full afternoon of excitement before the sun finally sets - and admission is free! This festival hosts an average of 30,000 people. The fun starts at 4:00 p.m. with a tasty full-line food court, a KidZone for the kids and a beer garden for the grown-ups. While you're enjoying the festivities, feel free to check out the ships, the twenty-five aircraft on-site, the Cold War Submarine Memorial and the Vietnam Base Camp. Once you've had your fill of delicious fair food and seen all of the historical sights, it's time to settle in for some real fun. At dusk, The East Coast Party Band begins to play. The Sizzling Summer Celebration

If you want to celebrate this Independence Day in style or with that special someone, then the annual event at the Wentworth Mansion might pique your interest. Admission to this elegant event is $70.00 per person, and well worth the cost. You'll start the night off right with cool drinks and food hot off the grill. Afterwards, guests relax in the Mansion's cupola with panoramic views of the city's best fireworks displays. Red, White & Blue On The Green

This old-fashioned patriotic celebration gives everyone a chance to get in on the action. A non-motorized parade is free to anyone wishing to register, with registration starting at 4:00 p.m. Get decked out in your patriotic best for this one - prizes will be given for Most Patriotic, Most Original and Most Patriotic Pet! Music and food is served starting at 7:00 p.m. with a little "flavor" to sate any palette. Folly Beach Fourth of July Celebration
