The IFrogz Thumpz IPod Nano Case: Why I Love It
If You've Ever Wished Your IPod Had Speakers, This May Be the Case for You
Then, a few months ago, my boyfriend solved my speaker dilemma with the gift of a very special iPod case. It is called an iFrogz Thumpz iPod Nano Case, and it is very cool. The case is made out of silicone rubber material and comes in a wide variety of colors. What makes this iPod Nano case so special, though, is the fact that the case actually has 3 tiny speakers built into it. The speakers are pretty good quality and are powered by your iPod, so they don't require any batteries of their own. Surprisingly, the case doesn't add a whole lot of bulk to the iPod Nano, and even with the iFrogz Thumpz case on, I could still easily fit my iPod into my pocket with room to spare.
The only limitation of the iFrogz Thumpz iPod Nano case is the volume of the speakers. Because the speakers are not independently powered, they can't go very loud. The case will allow you to comfortably listen to music at your desk or in your home, but it might not be suited for playing music in louder settings. Despite this, I found the case very useful. Anytime I wanted to, I could listen to music through the speakers in my iFrogz Thumpz case, but if I was in a quiet setting, all I needed to do was plug a pair of earphones into the bottom of the case and the speakers would immediately mute themselves. You cannot sync or charge your iPod Nano while it is in the iFrogz Thumpz case, but it is easy enough to get your iPod in and out of the case that it didn't really bother me much. For anyone that has ever wished their iPod Nano had built-in speakers, I would definitely recommend the iFrogz Thumpz iPod Nano Case.
