The Immortal Hunter by Lynsay Sands: A Review on a NY Times Bestseller

Raiscara Avalon
Lynsay Sands proves once again that she is a mistress of paranormal romance with her latest novel, The Immortal Hunter. Fans of Lynsay Sands will remember Decker, a member of the illustrious Argeneau family, from The Rogue Hunter, the first novel in the Rogue Hunter series. Decker meets his life mate Dani while hot on the tail of his rogue cousin Nicholas.

As one can expect from a Lynsay Sands novel, the latest addition to her vampire romance Rogue Hunter collection is filled with witty dialogue, action, adventure, and of course, passion. And as to be expected with the Argeneau life mates, Dani is one tough cookie. Decker definitely has his hands full with her!

Decker's on vacation when trouble starts with a band of rogue vampires. Hot on their trail is his cousin Nicholas, and there are two young women needing rescuing. Its all in a days work as an Enforcer to take a bullet to rescue a hapless damsel. But what do you do when the "hapless" damsel is your life mate, and causes you distress?

Dani is rather confused as to who Decker is, especially when he starts talking crazy. Being a couple of centuries old is crazy, right? And a Hunter? Too bad he's so darn cute. But can she trust him? Seems more like she's entered the Twilight Zone, or a really bad dream. Unfortunately, there is no waking up from this one. The lines between hunter and prey are blurred.

The wonderful thing about a Lynsay Sands novel is the continuity of her characters. Each novel builds upon the ones that have come previously, and The Immortal Hunter is no different. Many of the Argeneaus I have grown to love while reading Lynsay Sands novels make an appearance in The Immortal Hunter as well. I love how Lynsay Sands really gets deeper into the Argeneau vampire family with each novel, wrapping the reader deeper and deeper into the intrigue. It really creates a bond with the Argeneaus, and I cannot wait to see when this Argeneau or that Argeneau finds his/her life mate, or what behind the scenes nonsense he/she will be up to.

I would fully recommend The Immortal Hunter by Lynsay Sands to anyone, and The Immortal Hunter deserves its spot at number twelve on the New York Times Bestsellers List. The Immortal Hunter has been on the New York Times Bestsellers List for two weeks.
