The Importance of Apologetics
Intellectualism, Evolution and Argumentation All Bow Down to the Christian God
Apologetics also paves the way for the Gospel. We must always remind ourselves that God's glory must be our goal. Apologetics has never saved anyone. Apologetics is not the Gospel, but it can certainly peek interest and tear down strongholds. Our goal must never be to "win an argument", but to win people to Jesus. The Gospel can save to the uttermost; and Apologetics can be used to show inconsistencies in worldviews, and to bring others over into our worldview showing them how Christianity can account for all creation, and thus, this will pave the way for us to show people what they have suppressed; that God created them for His glory, but they have sinned, and the only Way for them to be reconciled to God is through the finished work of Christ!
