They will need to learn many important skills that they will need to use in the upcoming years. Why hold them back and be selfish when they are going to need to learn sooner or later. One huge benefit of going to preschool is learning about time and time management. They need to get up and dressed appropriately for the weather conditions making it to the corner for the bus on time so they don't miss it. They learn responsibility by bringing supplies and snacks to preschool and remembering to bring home their book bag and supplies. Social skills are learned by communicating with the preschool teacher, bus driver and classmates. Making friends and learning to get along with people your own age is something that takes time and doesn't come naturally for everyone.
Experiencing rules, playtime and hands on activities in a classroom setting is really beneficial towards every child's environment. Following directions from parents, bus drivers and preschool teachers are very important for every child to know how things work. Preschool means less time in daycare or stuck in the house watching the same cartoons over and over.
Since your child would definitely benefit from most or all of these skills, I would recommend enrolling your child in preschool so they don't miss out on these opportunities. Getting a head start and learning new things are good reasons why it is very important to have your child attend preschool. They should be taught learning and education is an important part of their everyday lives.
