The Importance of Using Stock Newsletters

A stock newsletter can give an investor a ton of information on which stocks to choose. Some stock gurus on Wall Street, however, have advised against stock newsletters because of the fact that they promote certain stocks, but PR firms such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley do exactly the same thing. But, Forbes.com has now given people that are just starting in the stock trading business the access to these information packed newsletters. The question that needs to be answered is which ones are the best on the market to take stock advice from.

Of all the stock newsletters around, Value Line Investment Survey has proven to give golden advice time and time again. According to Forbes.com, this newsletter has been trading stock market information since 1971. People have made money time and time again with this particular newsletter, and Forbes.com also reports that this was the one newsletter that made Wall Street feel differently about the stock newsletter concept.

Even when the markets are stalled, the advice that a stock newsletter can offer can make all the difference in the world. When the bull market stalled in July 2001, Maverick Advisor advised about certain stocks and their returns went from 48.2% all the way to 62.4%. Keep in mind; these were all positive return numbers. The key to taking advantage of the market when a stall or sideways turn comes the way of the investor is to know which stocks to pick. This advice is where a good stock newsletter can be imperative.

For some people, trying to pick out stocks can seem to be a challenging task. They may choose to diversify their portfolio with mutual funds. Many different stock newsletters are on the market for just this purpose. In the past ten years, Forbes.com recommends Equity Fund Outlook, No-Load Mutual Fund Selections & Timing Newsletter, No-Load Fund Analyst, and No-Load Fund Investor as the top stock newsletters to beat the market. No matter what a person may want to invest in, a stock newsletter exists to help them.

A stock newsletter can offer a person who may be a novice to the stock market an inside scoop. With so many on the market, though, choosing one may be difficult. Forbes.com has given investors a reason to rejoice because of the list of proven newsletters that they offer. No matter if a person wants to try to pick their stocks, or if they want to use mutual funds, a newsletter is available to help.
