The Incomprehensible Russian Vodka Website

Bryan Alaspa
I think that the author of this particular entry is a fan of vodka. He seems particularly upset over a website that refers to the "End of Vodka" but It's very hard to tell because of the rather hilarious sentences that come about from the Google translation of the entry.

According to the author the website that is now the bane of his existence, "provides four despicable characters (vodka-bots) - big fans of sorokagradusnoy stuff. He called on normal people do not behave as they are, and move with vodka at VeeV." We all know how annoying that can be, right?

It seems that this company, known as VeeV, is trying to get people to drink their brand of alcohol now that vodka has become very trendy. In doing so they have created a website that tries to stereotype the various vodka drinkers and make fun of vodka in general as a drink made by potato lovers.

One tactic the company takes is to tease the farmers who invented vodka as a way to stay warm during the harsh Russian winters. As the author of this blog writes, "so it has been established in such a terrible cold country like Russia. Last winter has lost only three fingers on his legs. This means that I am lucky." One has to wonder how lucky he really would have been had he been growing fingers on his legs in the first place, regardless of how he lost them.

The author tries to break down the various "vodka bots" described on the End of Vodka site. For example, the Hollywood Bot "is trying to invite girls from the bar in its house on a hill Hollywood, but it has somehow all denied." We've all be there before, guys, right?

I would like to say I supported this author's feelings against the website in question. I have certainly enjoyed my share of vodka. I just couldn't tell you what his position is in the first place.

  • This is a pretty funny site because of the poor translation
  • I think the author may be offended by the EndofVodka site, but I can't be sure
  • Long live vodka!
