The Inn at Bay Harbor a Marriott Renaissance Golf Resort

The first thing you notice when you walk through the white doors of the Inn at bay Harbor is the great chandelier in the lobby. Hundreds of sparkling crystals cast a glow over the Victorian-styled lobby. The lobby presents a seating area for relaxing or entertaining friends.

Just off the main lobby is the Inn at Bay Harbor Spa. The spa is a full service spa and really pampers you. The Spa offers several packages as well and serves horsd'oeuvres and drinks on Thursday afternoons.

Also on the main floor are two restaurants. Both restaurants offer patio seating when the season permits and accept advance reservations. Reservations are recommended during the peak seasons.

Sagamore's Dining Room is very elegant. Cranberry and white are the primary colors with white French doors that open to an incredible view of Lake Michigan. Regardless the season, this is a fantastic view. Sagamore's offers gourmet dining for dinner as well as a wonderful breakfast buffet.

The South American Grille and Wine Bar provides the perfect place for a cozy meal or simply a place to relax with a glass of wine. Decorated in dark woods and rich leathers, you will not be in a hurry to leave.

The Inn Café' is a great deli just off the main lobby. This is the best solution for a quick meal in your room. Most items on the menu are served with no waiting. Soups, sandwiches and salads are good choices and reasonably priced.

Boyne Country Sports isa retail outlet that carries shoes, resort wear and jewelry as well as many other miscellaneous items. They are also located just off the main lobby beside the deli and are open daily.

Located in the Bay Harbor community on the shore of Lake Michigan The Inn at Bay Harbor is a beautiful tribute to times gone by. This grand white building with its Victorian towers and Renaissance inspired lawns is stunning. With Lake Michigan as a backdrop, it is easy to relax in one of the many teak lounges or Adirondack chairs scattered around the lawn. Do not pass up the opportunity to sit and enjoy or to participate in a game of life-sized lawn chess or croquet. This is what makes the Inn at Bay Harbor so unique. It is not unusual to find the lawns full of guests gathered around for conversation, games and relaxing. No one seems to stay in his or her rooms because all the fun is outside.

You can swim in the clear waters of Lake Michigan or in the warmer water of the outdoor pool at the inn at Bay Harbor. The outdoor pool is a seasonal pool, open only during the summer; however, a new indoor pool is scheduled to be built in the near future.

The Inn at Bay Harbor- Renaissance Golf Resort is indeed a four-star destination. For a full review of rooms and amenities, follow this link.
