From the Xbox live marketplace you can download and play free trial versions of many classic arcade and full versions if your willing to pay for them. Such classic games include, Caslevania, Contra, Street Fighter II and many more. These games have been re-vamped to fit the standards of the Xbox 360's amazing graphic capabilities. Although you'll be limited with the free trial versions it's still a lot of fun, and you get a lot of bonus features with the full versions, like leader board states, and online play!
Other great features of the Xbox live marketplace are the game trailers you can download to view the most recent planed released for the Xbox 360. Of course the most anticipated of these releases is Halo 3 which will be released on September 25, 2007 but you can still see the spectacular demo in the Xbox live marketplace. You can also download extra content associated with specific games, like commercials, advertisements and behind the scenes looks at your favorite games.
Another feature is the ability to download game demos directly from Xbox live onto your 360's hard drive. You can add any number of available demos of popular games like Sonic, Dead or Alive 4, Call of Duty 2 and many others all for free. The best part is that the demo section of the Xbox live Marketplace is frequently updated, so you'll always have new and exciting demos waiting for you to give them a shot. This is a great feature because why go out and spend 50+ dollars on a game you may end up hating? With the demo feature of the Xbox live Marketplace you don't even have to go out and rent the game, just try out the demo at no cost.
The Xbox live Marketplace is just one of the many great features you'll get when you purchase an Xbox 360. With free game trials of classic arcade games and full demos of upcoming releases the Xbox live Marketplace is a great accessory to the Xbox live system.

Post a CommentMy friend and I play Worms like crazy on his Xbox 360 -- the Marketplace is an awesome idea, done well.
Nothing from Sony and Nintendo has yet to compare Microsoft's online infrastructure and I don't even think Sony's Home will be that grand.
