Known nationally for his music, Blues artist Big Mike Griffin has become one of the top independently-owned musicians across the United States. His talent and personality help draw audiences to his unique sound and stage presence.

Raised in Oklahoma, Griffin started to have an interest in music at an early age. As a self-taught guitar player, Griffin learned the ins and outs of playing music through sight and sound. First influenced by the "3 Kings", Griffin had an increasing desire to play music. The music and lyrics of Albert, Freddie, and B.B. King inspired Griffin to pursue music as a career. After 20 years, Griffin made the journey to Nashville, Tennessee to reach his goals. After meeting various musicians through networking and playing music locally, Griffin eventually formed his traveling band known as the Unknown Blues Band. In 1992, Mike Griffin and his band released their very first album. Featuring 9 tracks, Back on the Streets Again helped the band gain exposure from across the Nation due to their incredible talent and drive. Years later, Griffin would work with some of the best known artists in the industry including David Allen Coe, Johnny Rodriguez, Benny Lattimore, Little Milton, and many others.

Due to the exposure surrounding his music, Griffin became a very well-known blues artist nationally. To date, he has become a household name by appearing on stages, various magazine covers, and films across the country. Throughout his career, Griffin has frequented motorcycle rallies, festivals, and other venues across the United States. Griffin and the band would frequently play in front of huge audiences throughout various venues across the U.S. In August 2009, Griffin performed in front of approximately 70,000 people at the East Coast Sturgis in Maryland. Griffin has also played at various motorcycle rallies and venues including Daytona Bike Week, Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, and Gettysburg Bike Week just to name a few. Griffin's talent has also brought rave reviews through various magazines including EasyRiders and Vintage Guitar. Due to his huge success on the stage, he was given the privilege to be part of an extraordinary film Iron City Blues. In 2007, Gemini Production Group released the documentary featuring commentary from Mike Griffin as he explored the town of Iron City, Tennessee. Griffin describes first-hand experience of the small, troubled town through various interviews with local residents which inspired his hit single Iron City.

Released in 2008, Griffin's latest album features 10 acoustic/electric-inspired Blues tracks, meant to impress many listeners of the genre. All My Runnin' is a remembrance for Griffin as his reflected on his friend from Oklahoma who passed away shortly after writing the title track for the album. Currently, Griffin is working on the follow-up to All My Runnin' and can be seen through various venues across the country.
