The IPhone Clear Reception

A Tree Hopefully Grows in Brooklyn

Randy Jones
OK folks I have just caught a video on Yahoo that almost made me laugh my self to sleep,
It seems a girl received her first iPhone bill compliments of the United States Postal Service. Are you ready?. In a box. In a big flat box.
Now why would you need a phone bill mailed to you in a 9 by 12 box I wonder?

I believe she quit counting the pages at 300. Yes I said 300 pages and counting. Now if you thought your old home phone bill was hard to read, I'm not sure but I would not think a corporate bankruptcy would be three hundred pages long.
The only thing I can say is that AT&T you will probably have the greatest reception in the world because I do not think trees will be interfering with with your service after a few hundred of these phone bills come out.

Now in AT&T's defense they do offer alternate methods of receiving your bill, such as e-bill which is helpful to just go on line check your bill and make your payments at their web site. I just wonder if the National Arbor Day Foundation has seen the video yet?. I'm afraid trouble may be right over the horizon for this phone carrier if people do not switch to on line bill pay pretty quick. I have not had the pleasure of using the new hi tech phone and possibly will not unless I borrow one due to the nice cozy cost of having the world in the palm of your hand.

Sometimes I wonder after seeing these items of higher modern technology are we ever going to be able to function with out them. I will use my self as an example. A couple of days ago I could not get logged on to my home page because of server problems. I tried everything I could resetting the page, restarting my computer and unplugging my modem and nothing seemed to fix the problem. I set in disappointment thinking that I cannot get on line. I think I was 30 seconds away from a panic attack. Then my friend had an idea!. Why do you not call customer service?. WOW! I can actually talk to some one over the telephone and they might be able to help.

To make it short I contacted customer service for my DSL and with in one minute I was back on line and free to surf. It's funny that you get so use to a certain piece of technology that if it goes down you feel your access to the outside world it gone. Some people have even described the saga as being claustrophobic or as I stated, an anxiety attack. I wonder though would it be from the loss of service or the reality check of what you paid for something that has failed you. Our modern day gadgets are great to look at and for a few after a couple of classes even try and use them, but just always keep in mind anything man made has the opportunity to fail or go down most of the time during use. So I guess a lesson to learn would be back up back up back up. Always keep files in a manner you can restore in the event the inevitable happens.
