The iTunes app store has so many apps available if there is a task you need to complete there is almost a guaranteed "app for that". Can't think of what to make for dinner? Install Big Oven, an app that has tens of thousands of recipes available with a simple search. Need a calendar to keep track of all your households' activities. Use the built in calendar app with Google calendars and you can update the calendars from any PC or Mac with internet or update them on the iPod Touch or iPhone.

Need something to keep toddler's quiet during doctor's appointments or trips to banks use the iPod app to let them watch their favorite videos while they are waiting. Again, the iTunes app store has many games geared toward the preschooler audience and many are free!
