To me, the second and third generations of the Nano are by far the best iPod's and most convenient by far. The gen. two Nano's strong plastic coating makes it very durable when it comes to accidentally being dropped. For instance I have dropped mine quite a few times on the ground or the tabletop and it has had only a few minor scratches. I have never experienced any problems with my iPod's performance or playing ability, everything has always worked great. The third generation of iPod Nano's has a bigger screen and it is skinnier in size than the second generation. And it is still pretty tough. A few of my friends dropped theirs so many times, and it still operates fine. The fourth generation has a lot of cool new games, graphics, and features. I think that it is awesome, but its giant screen and super skinniness doesn't help much when it is dropped. One drop to concrete will or can seriously crack if not shatter the screen. That is a downfall that decreases my liking for it.
Again, the Nano is the greatest form of iPod. They can perform everything all the other iPods can, minus the touch screen, plus they are small and room conserving. They are the most popular to. I see more Nano's in the hands of people than any other iPod. I love my Nano. My friends love their Nano's. Everybody loves the Nano. They are the kings of Mp3 players.
