The iPod Video: Good for Good Times On-the-Go

Angie
So there's a famous "little" thing called an Ipod. Ipods have gotten quite popular, back then and even now. There are several different kinds of Ipods, such as the shuffle, the nano, etc. I will be reviewing the Ipod Video. The Ipod Video tends to be somewhat more expensive than the rest of the Ipods, but it has more features. One of the obvious ones is the capability to play video. You can download videos or buy them on Itunes and transfer them onto your Ipod Video. The amount of video it can hold depends on the type of memory you get: a 30 GB, 60 GB, etc. It plays the videos in color and, of course, with sound. This is nice for taking videos on-the-go. Besides video, the Ipod Video can also hold pictures. You can transfer pictures from your computer onto the Ipod. They also come in color, unless the picture was originally black and white. This is also good for taking any special pictures or remembering good times on-the-go.

And, of course, there's the songs. The Ipod video tends to hold more songs than other Ipods, sometimes much more. The number of songs you can put into the Ipod Video depends on the memory capacity you get. The more memory, the more songs, pictures, etc. you can hold. However, more memory means a higher price. So see what's convenient for you. Besides that, the Ipod Video has other good stuff, such as games, an alarm, a clock, a timer, a calendar, and more. These and the other things could also prove useful to you. I guess the Ipod Video could also be called a sort of "organizer."

There are some "disadvantages" to the Ipod Video, however. A notable one is its size; it's bigger than the rest. But this can be understandable because it can hold more things. The Ipod Video is still portable, but if you want ultra-portability, you might be better off with an Ipod Nano. And the Ipod Video does weigh more, but it is not heavy. Another disadvantage is the visibility of scratches on the Ipod. You might want to consider getting a protective case or something to guard your Ipod from scratches or the such. Actually, the scratch visibility applies to pretty much all Ipods, not just the Video. Oh, and the Ipod Video does cost more than other Ipods, so the price might be an issue for some people. Other than its size, price, and scratch visibility, the Ipod Video is pretty great, and there are not many other notable drawbacks, if any. The sound is good, and it usually comes in a package with instructions and everything so you can get started. The Ipod Video is recommended.
