The Job

A fathers job isnt hard at all
Could be as simple as returning a call
But for some that's too much to ask
Any sort of love does not last

Some men feel that their lives are worth more
So they pack their bags and head out the door
Their childs health and love is not the issue
A son disguarded like a used tissue

The house and car to his disposal
He returns with a dubious proposal
"Sell your soul and abandon your son"
Would this deal be taken by anyone?

Maybe a father like this would fold
But a mother's loves always holds
The best for her son no matter what the cost
Especially when a father's love if forever lost.
