The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards was held last night at the Los Angeles, Beverly Hills Hilton. The Kids Are All Right won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. Annette Benning also won a Golden Globe for her performance in The Kids Are All Right as Best Actress in Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy. I was not surprised that the movie won because it did so well at the box office.

The nominees in the Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, category were: Alice in Wonderland, Burlesque, The Kids Are All Right, Red and The Tourist.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen presented the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, to the producers of The Kids Are Alright. Jeffrey Levy-Hint, one of the producers of The Kids Are All Right accepted the Golden Globe.

He commented that he only had 60 seconds and then thanked The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Focus, his wife, children and others.

For those of you who didn't see the movie yet, The Kids Are All Right is about "the children of same-sex parents Nic (Annette Bening) and Jules (Julianne Moore)" who "become curious about the identity of their sperm-donor dad (Mark Ruffalo) and set out to make him part of their family unit, often with hilarious results."
