There were few childrens often visit this garden secretly via one secret gate. They pluck few flowers and go silently. The gardner was shocked to see as some of the flowers were missing. This started happen every day. The gardner could not guess as what was happening. He informed to King about the misiing flowers. The King scolded the gardner and asked him to keep watch on the same. The King also employed one watchman to guard the gardnen. The childrens were caught very next day while plucking the flowers and presented before the King. The King was very much angry with them and scolded them in harsh words. He warned them not to visit the garden or else they would be punished. The childrens had a very bad time and they burst in to tears.
The next day the gardner was even more shocked as there was not a single flower in the garden. He was worried as how this might have happened. He did not tell any one. The next day too he did not see any flowers. This continued for next few days and he informed the King that the flowers are missing from the garden in spite of strong security. The king got very much angry at this. He set a panel to find out the reason as what was wrong. The expert team studied but could not come to conclusion as where the flowers had gone. The King was desperate to know the reason. He tried all he could but did not get the result right.
One day an old man came to him and requested the King to allow him to reveal the story. The King permitted him as he was very much eager to know that. The old man said,
" Your highness, the childrens who used to pluck flowers from the plant were punished by you. They were innocent. They daily entered your garden and play with your flower plants. They watered the flower plants with their tender palms. They used to sing and dance there. The flower plants got the required energy and they started to blossom day by day. The flower plants enjoyed their company. The moment the childrens were kept away from the garden the flowers plants stopped giving flowers as if they were lifeless."
" So what could be done now " asked the King.
" Keep the garden open for children and lethim do what ever they want to " said the old man.
The next day, the garden gates were opened and every children was informed and requested to visit garden. After few days the garden flower plants were again blossomed and the garden was full of flowers. The King was very happy now. He respectfully awarded the old man and thank him for the suggestion.
The moral of the story is, never hurt childrens..
