It is a port, a resting place
Where most utensils pass
Beneath the taps, the kitchen pond
Sees every dirty glass
Where most utensils pass
Beneath the taps, the kitchen pond
Sees every dirty glass
With water hot and water cold
And temperatures between
Within its watery domain
It sees each item clean
Considering my kitchen
Of all the things, I think,
The one that makes it most complete,
Must be the kitchen sink.

I wanted to be a serious writer - unfortunately my muse is a small and not completely sane sheep - but what can you do? It's hard to explain, but that's life and I guess someone has to do it! View profile
