The girls join Kit in a self-defense class due to the robbery at The Planet which is temporarily closed; they talk about getting together and going to the new lesbian club, SheBar. While doing training exercises, a few conversations ensue. One about a party Alice plans to take Tasha, Jenny going on about how every lesbian in the club would want to be in her movie. Tina's new lady friend Brenda is a topic for discussion and this catches Bette's ear. Her jealousy escalates when she hears that Tina not only slept with her on the first night but she's meeting her at SheBar that night; alarming Jodi.
Max and Grace are working checking out the podcast he posted on OurChart and Grace sees that someone isn't very welcoming to him talking about what it means to be a transman who didn't complete the operation and they weren't the only one who was upset. Alice calls Max and gets into him about posting his podcast on the site without clearing it up with her first. She feels its invading her space. She offers to give Max a spot on the site but not as a Guestbian because Alice doesn't want any heat from other lesbians because a transman is on the site.
While going back and forth about the issue, Alice is approached by two military men who want to come in and speak with her about Tasha. She obliges but is soon ambushed by the overly rude men. They conduct an impromptu search of her apartment where they find a few lifestyle references. One of the soldiers looks and goes over to the Chart and questions if Tasha is a part of that connecting board. She quickly says no but her eyes tell another story when she sharply sees the 'T' on the board that is supposed to represent Tasha; giving way for the officer to be more suspicious of her.
Later that evening, Tasha comes home to a very shaken Alice - cleaning off the Chart! Alice goes on to explain what happened earlier causing Tasha to be sympathetic to Alice and angry at Beech for not pulling her coattails about the possibility of this happening. Tasha goes over to Beech's house unannounced and confronts him about what happened to Alice; alarming his wife in the process. Tasha apologizes for disrupting their home and that she hope she didn't wake their son. Thus giving Beech a taste of what Alice had to endure. This obviously hit another cord in Beech because the next day he was knocking on Alice's door. Still a bit rattled from the previous day, Alice is apprehensive on answering the door, so she tries to cover for Tasha saying she's not in. Tasha recognizes the voice to be Beech's and says that it's ok to answer the door. It looks like, thanks to his wife, Beech is coming around and is -really taking a more serious look at the case. He even thinks Alice is a great catch.
Bette, Kit, Shane and Jodi have a night out and go to the opening of SheBar and hit a snag when an assuming Kit thinks she's on the list and is told the opposite she feels a bit jaded. However Dawn, one of the owners, spot Bette and says she can come in to which Bette answers "It's all or nothing"; Dawn grants them entrance. They are then introduced properly by both Dawn and her lover/business partner Cindi who hail from Miami. Dawn gives off this sexy rocker vibe to Cindi's shyness. They also see Tina enjoying herself with Brenda and after some small talk they head back to the dance floor with Bette not making her jealousy known to Jodi.
Jenny and Adele have managed to get themselves into the club and with a little help from Adele, so does Niki Stevens. Apparently Adele saw how important it was to have Niki be a part of this movie, so she took upon herself to call her and let her know Jenny would be there. She and Jenny, after some schmoozing from Niki, go into one of the side rooms and discuss the movie. As much as she tried to make it difficult fro Niki to state her case on how badly she wants to be in the movie, Jenny is hit from left field when Niki shares her coming out story, it mirrors her own. All the while the two are talking; Adele can be seen peaking through the beads almost in complete awe of her boss.
Shane is ready to head home but is stopped by Dawn, telling her that she and Cindi want her to be a regular at the club and escorts her to the VIP section. Upon arriving upstairs Dawn orders everyone but Cindi to leave the room; letting Shane know they are both attracted to her and would like to have some fun with her - together. The couple have an understanding that they are completely honest with each other, no cheating, no drama, and if they want to sleep with someone else they only do it together. This would look like something Shane may be open for but let's not forget her break from sex and the drama that come with it.
The girls begin the private party and Dawn extends her hand out to Shane who is a little hesitant about the situation. The relaxation sets in when Cindi extends her hand confirming that everything is cool for all. Both girls are pulling Shane in and they embark in one of the steamiest sexual moments...ever!
Downstairs, Max and Tom are looking very chummy on the dance floor as Jodi and Bette look on. Jodi is happy for Tom seeing as how he's wanted a boyfriend for some time and Bette jokes that Tom has a 'girlfriend'. Kit catches them at the bar and says she's ready to go and Jodi says she's ready too. Bette promised Shane she wouldn't leave without her so she says that they can go on while she stays to look for Shane so she can do the same.
That same evening Alice and Tasha are going to an underground party hosted by entertainment lawyer Barry Burd whose parties allow the who's who in the celebrity arena to come of the closet and let their hair down and be free with themselves.
They enter the party with a password (remember Eyes Wide Shut?) and are surprised at who they see. One being a well known NBA star Tasha recognizes as a married man with children. Mr. Burd greets the ladies and recognizes Alice from her podcasts on OurChart; Alice is flattered but is soon asked that she not have a podcast regarding the party to which she agrees and says she's all for what he's doing and thinks it cool. She looks around at the party and notices a guy playing with notable millionaire to which Barry confirms her suspicions and even showing that the millionaire's wife is also there with another woman making Alice's jaw drop.
The girls are enjoying themselves dancing cheek to cheek and accidentally bump into the NBA star and his secret partner. After Alice and the guys exchange pleasant apologies, the star says that he like her and Tasha takes notice of how he sounds more masculine in his interviews. While still dancing Alice, breaking a major party rule, carefully slides out her cell phone and uses to capture the two guys dancing and softly kissing each other. Meanwhile, Kit is shopping for a gun for added protection.
Back at SheBar and unable to find Shane, Bette goes into one of the side rooms and finds Tina sitting by herself. They're both asking why the other is alone and Bette explains Kit and Jodi leaving and staying for Shane. After a moment of uncomfortable silence, Bette begins to walk out but stops when Tina tells her she's hiding from Brenda. It appears that Brenda is a bit too fast for her; they continue their heart to heart. They both agree this isn't their scene and give each other a glance. As Tina is leaving Bette grabs her wrist and pulls her into the kiss felt around the world. For a moment they were in their own world; being the passionate couple they once were. In a moment of clarity, Bette starts to cry, finally letting go buried unresolved feelings for Tina, who is comforting her; they resume the kiss. Could this be a new beginning for Bette and Tina?
