The L Word - Lesbians Gone Wild

T. S. Jones
Production continues of Lez Girls with a cheesy entertainment reporter featuring the shooting on her telecast. While recording the making of the movie, Niki and Begonia are recreating one of Jenny's first moments with Marina. Niki forgets her line in the first take and laughs after Begonia says her line making things difficult resulting in an argument between the two. While the ladies continue bickering over how unprofessional the other is; Tina tries to do some damage control saying that maybe if they came back at another time to shoot the segment things would be better. Jenny notices them and is not happy about the argument being recorded. Adele and Tina explain to Jenny they're shooting behind the scenes for the DVD release. This doesn't matter to Jenny at the moment and asks them to leave.

Between scene breaks a young lady is passing out flyers for SheBar's Lesbian Turkish Oil Wrestling event. Tina notices her passing them out and asks Adele to not only take them from the staff but to also let her know she cannot pass them out. Tina doesn't want any distractions on set that may urge Niki to wonder off again. Jenny and Niki are walking along and pass Adele who tells Jenny she's needed on set. Niki goes on to calling Begonia, the actress playing Karina, a cunt because of her behavior on set; Jenny pleas with Niki to be nice to her because Begonia feelings are hurt. She says she'll be nice only for Jenny.

Colonel Gillian Davis arrives on base and is happily welcomed by fellow officer. She's introduced to Captain Beech letting him know she's there as a visiting prosecutor for some of their case load. He hightails it to his office, letting Tasha know that not only is the Colonel prosecuting their case, she's a by the book tough soldier. After Beech shows her the outcome of a hazing case, Tasha gives her accolades for her work. Beech has her take a look at a quote she made stating practically word for word the military's stand on homosexual conduct. Tasha has got a fight ahead of her.

Alice is on the set of daytime talk show The Look (think The View). The show is looking for a replacement of former co-host Karen and Alice is a prospect. The two regular hosts are not only certifiably fake they don't seem to have any regard to Alice or her website. Can you believe how Mary Lam cuts her off like Alice is unimportant? Totally disrespectful but Alice handles it well.

Speaking of Mary, Kit and Jodi are at Bette's watching the show and Kit comments on how difficult she's being towards Alice. Bette's getting herself ready to take Phyllis' daughter Molly out for the day as a favor to her. Bette's a bit vocal about having to show Molly the "positive side of lesbianism"; the plan is to go to a few art galleries and on to the set of Lez Girls. Bette invites Kit who accepts since The Planet is closed for the week due to the rats the SheBar girls sent over. Molly arrives and is introduced to Kit and sees they're watching The Look and expresses how she's glad that Kelly's no longer on the show. Jodi mentions how Alice is a friend of theirs and of her mother's making Bette pop her upside the head. It finally hits her on who Alice is, she says she remembers Alice from her mother's degrading podcast.

Tasha walks down the hall sees Gillian taking boxes into her office. She offers her help to carry some in the office for her; she declines but says that Tasha can carry the lock case in for her. The exchange names and Gillian notices that Tasha has been in combat to which she confirms and says she was in Iraq for 18 months. After some small talk about experiences in war, Gillian asks Tasha why she's not on tour and hears that Tasha's being held back for investigation for homosexual conduct. She goes on to tell Gillian that she'll be prosecuting her case who is instantly upset over the way they have met. Tasha felt the need to let her know who she was.

Gillian says that this is a violation and Tasha knows this to be a fact. She tries to apologize but Gillian angrily dismisses her.

During a break on the show, the ladies are letting Alice know they're not looking for someone to fill Kelly's shoes and they're not looking for controversy. Alice takes this as maybe they don't want her to be out. On the contrary, they want her to be out; gay is good - big ratings for daytime television. They want the right kind of gay, fun gay not angry gay. Fun gay for them involves gay gossip and gay lifestyle, like what she did to Daryl Brewer. They loved that and they want that to be Alice's format, to out famous people - if she wants the job.

They return from break where Alice continues to attempt to go with the flow of things but her words are overstepped by Mary until they goad Alice on for Hollywood gossip. She slowly succumbs to their ranting and mentions a certain Maxim endorsed starlet that is more like the character she's playing in a new Hollywood girl on girl movie. Who do you think she's talking about?

Niki has some friends in her trailer having a little fun time and Jenny comes by and breaks things up because she needs to talk business. She tells Niki that Tina suggests they tone down the relationship for the benefit of the film. As Jenny continues to try to reason with her, Niki begins to undress and kiss her. You can imagine what happened after that.

Tina is getting an earful from Niki's manager and agent because of what Alice did on the talk show. She shows why she's good at her job by calming them down some by letting them know that the studio is already at work cleaning up Alice's mess. They are going to make it cleat that Gretchen Pickles (Nina) is the only lesbian actress. If this is so, then how come last week she didn't know what to do sexually when she and Isabel (Bev) had no clue how to have lesbian sex? It's at that moment Sam, the DP, calls for Tina. She let's them know that they are in the middle of shooting and needs to get back to work. Tina directs them to the catering truck and says they can have whatever they want and she'll speak to them later.

Once back in the soundstage, Tina and Sam talk shop as Kit, Molly and Bette see them getting a little closer, making Bette a little uneasy. Tina notices her and speaks, she and Sam walk over and introduces her to everyone and meets Molly in the process. After Sam excuses herself and Kit plays with Tina a bit, Bette tells her that Sam was flirting with her and Tina brushes it off. Bette says she needs to talk to Tina about preschool for Angelica and she picks up on it. As they split from Kit ad Molly, Bette tells Molly she'll catch up with her, Molly says she'll be fine.

Jodi and her ex-girlfriend Amy are out having lunch and catching up on each other's lives. Jodi says that things are going great with she and Bette - the sex is great!! Amy doesn't really want to get into her sex life. But Amy has found happiness too; she has a girlfriend named Melinda and things look to be just as well as Jodi and Bette. Amy reveals she was dating a woman who wasn't deaf, surprising Jodi. Amy apologizes for how she reacted to Bette, she was hurt. She can see that Jodi is in love and is happy for her.

Tina and Bette go into a bedroom on set that is supposed to be Bette and Tina's bedroom, Tina tells her it's Bev and Nina's room. Bette looks at the room and says it looks like the children's department from God knows where. After she sinks in the decor, she asks which side is Nina's thus beginning another flirting session with Tina. Just as things begin to heat up, Tina's called via walkie talkie. They abruptly separate from the noise just as a set worker finds and let Tina she's needed up front; she heads out.

Alice is trying to get on set but the security guard is not budging despite her ranting. Tina makes her way to them and tells the guard she has it under control. Tina gives Alice notice that she's been banned from the set because she outed Niki on national television. Alice defends herself saying that she didn't say her name. She had to give a little Hollywood gossip in order to land the job. Tina then tells her that her manager and agent are threatening to pull her from the film because of what happened. Alice feels they're being dramatic about the whole thing; she doesn't understand what the big deal is since Niki is in fact a lesbian and Lez Girls is a lesbian film.

Tina tells Alice that it's because it's a lesbian film that makes it a big deal. The goal of the film is to reach a mainstream audience but if everyone thinks that Niki really is a lesbian it becomes a small film that's going to reach the masses. Alice is beside herself with how everyone is with being out and proud. To add insult to injury, Tina tells Alice she can't blog about this situation either. She tries to smooth things out by offering to have a drink later. Alice thinks that would be good if she didn't have to go to Long Beach and talk to Colonel Davis and storms out.

In the hair and make-up, Molly and Kit are there with Shane while she gives Begonia a touch up on her hair. Shane tries to make nice with Molly by bringing up her mother's party; she doesn't want to talk about her mother's degrading party. She makes some headway as she goads Molly to smile. Bette comes in to let them know there are some seats set up for them to watch production of the movie. As they leave, Shane makes the extra effort to say goodbye to Molly and speaks to Bette, who gives Shane the "watch yourself" look.

Jenny and Niki are in the trailer relishing in their afternoon romp. She wants to go out and Jenny says they can't because they have to work. Niki feels Jenny can call off production for the night because she's the boss. Jenny tells her that she's responsible for the movie and they need to b serious about it. As they continue cuddling, Niki talks about having a family with Jenny. How she wants a big family and move away far from everyone. Jenny's touched to tears and just as they begin yet another round, Jenny's being paged and tosses the walkie talkie off to the side. Jenny wonders if they should stop having sex during lunch and if the crew has taken notice of them. Niki doesn't care if they find out because she loves her.

Colonel Davis is having a time dealing with the case load in front of her and calls Captain Beech to try to strike a deal with him and Tasha before things get ugly for her. The deal she presents is one where Tasha can be honorably discharged and receive full benefits; Beech can't get a few words in before Tasha asks him to tell Davis what she can do with her deal.

Shane. Kit and Molly are walking through The Pluto Café set and Kit comments on how she should open up shop there since the SheBar girls caused The Planet to close for a week and is due a final inspection. On top of all that, she has to pay an $8,000.00 fine.

Do you remember when I said that Adele was one step from Single White Female? Last week proved that with the new do. Now we're seeing her more manipulative side. She lets Niki know that she's needed on set and "accidentally" drops some papers right in her eye view. As Niki helps Adele pick up the papers, she sees the SheBar flyer and instantly wants Jenny to take her.

Tina and Bette conversation is interrupted when Niki is seen running past them shouting about the SheBar event. Tina wants and explanation as to why, when she asked Adele to take care of the matter, does Niki have a flyer. Adele weasels her way out of it apologizing and saying she thought she had them all and somebody must have left it lying around. Tina explains to Bette that Niki is a 20 year old who wonders off causing tension among the actors making her go crazy. Adding to that, she tells Bette that Jenny and Niki are still sleeping together and they have a lunch date in her trailer while Adele stand guard. Tina invites her to stay but Bette has to get back to the office. She lets Molly know she's leaving; Molly decides to stick around for a while longer. Bette says she'll get Jodi to come by and pick her up to which Molly clarifies that she's 24 years old and can take care of herself. Shane offers to take her home - with Kit in tow of course.

A production assistant say's they'll be ready in 15 minutes and need Niki there to start. Adele says she can let her know since she has to see Niki anyway. Once in the trailer, Adele listens to Niki express how unfair it is that she has to work while everyone is having a ball at SheBar. Adele agrees that it must be hard for her and feels it's lame that they make her work so hard. She goes on to give her the rundown on how most stars wouldn't tolerate the way Niki is being treated.

Niki tries to explain her case to Adele saying that SheBar is close by; she can show her face, say hello to her friends and come right back. Adele tells her that she heard they didn't need Niki for an hour and a half. Niki quickly texts back saying she has time to spare, gives Adele a great big hug and head out for some Turkish oil fun. Adele looks strikingly vindictive.

Jodi goes to see Bette to talk about their day. Bette's lying on the bed when she comes in. Jodi asks Bette how things went and Bette looks exhausted. Jodi goes on about her lunch with Amy and that she's happy in her new relationship and as she suggests that Amy and Bette meet again, only this time it will be good. Bette gets up from the bed and pulls Jodi to her. She starts to undress Jodi and throws her on the bed. They get into an impromptu one on one moment but Bette is thinking of Tina even though she's getting rough with Jodi. After the moment has past, Bette cries to herself for her actions.

Molly has grown bored on the Lez Girls set, saying it's like watching paint dry. Shane agrees but does say some people think it's fascinating. Molly wonders what is there to do in Los Angeles for fun besides making lesbianism the next big wave. She offers to take her out if she sticks around longer to which Molly scoffs at saying her mom has pulled her coattails about Shane. Phyllis called her The Fonz because of her player ways. She laughs it off and calls Molly sassy; no one has said that to Shane before. On the contrary, Molly's not sassy she's bored, but not bored enough to sleep with Shane.

Things are on hold and Jenny wants to know what's taking so long. They can't start shooting until Niki gets on set; Jenny's not happy about it. Adele comes running saying that Niki's gone and no one can find her but she may have an idea of where she went and shows them the flyer. Tina obviously ticked off calls Niki a little bitch. They now have to stop production to get Niki back on set and back to work.

The 1st annual SheBar Turkish Oil Wrestling Tournament of the Stars is about to begin. This slippery event is hosted of course by Dawn Denbo aka Miami Vice and her lover Cindi aka The Viper. Dawn asks the screaming crowd if there's a woman brave enough to take on The Viper; without hesitation Niki raises her hand. Dawn calls her up to the ring where Niki introduces herself as Jesse Jailbait; the match begins. They realize who Niki is and Cindi plans on taking her out. Dawn then calls a friend with the tip that Niki's in her club.

Outside Tina is telling Jenny that she's got to go in and get Niki because Jenny's the only one she'll listen to. Kit tells Tina she'll be a traitor if she goes in. Tina explains to Kit that Niki is in there costing Shaolin thousands of dollars every moment she's there and the fact that she's underage doesn't help matters either. Thanks to Dawn's phone call, the paparazzi are there, as things couldn't get worse for Tina.

Inside the ring, Niki is holding her own with Cindi. After much tossing, flipping, slipping, and sliding Niki is the victor; much to Cindi's dismay. The girls see this and Tina is furious but Jenny seems to like the oily ring and goes behind Tins to the ring. Shane finds it to be pretty messed up and Molly disagrees saying its amazing and catch up with Tina and Jenny. Dawn then asks who wants to take on Niki and Tina cries out for her. Remember, Niki thinks she has time to spare to have some fun. Niki sees them and asks Jenny to come in the ring and join her. Jenny tries to get Niki out because they're in the middle of shooting and they need her to finish the scene. Niki is insisting saying that Jenny's going to come in and fight her in order for her to come back to work. Tina orders her to get Niki out of the ring. Jenny toys with her saying she's going to get what she asked for. Quickly turning it into a good situation, Jenny and Niki begin a sexual oily match.

The match brings out an interesting side in Molly that surprises Shane. She questions Molly about not finding this degrading and Molly fires back asking if she sees Phyllis in the ring, therefore making it an awesome sight. While Shane is astonished by Molly's ranting during the match, Dawn sees them together and the wheels in her head are turning. Meanwhile outside, Kit calls the police to report that SheBar is serving drinks to minors.

Alice is on base to meet with Colonel Davis concerning Tasha's hearing. Of course Alice doesn't want to be there and her manner towards Gillian proves just that. Gillian begins to question Alice's association with Tasha to which she tries to play down the relationship. Gillian is not having that saying she's fully aware of what kind of relationship Alice and Tasha had; she has witnesses who say they have seen them together. Alice tells her that means nothing and she refuses to testify so they can kick Tasha out. Gillian tells her that she's been subpoenaed and if she doesn't testify, the U. S. Marshals will come for her and she'll be in a world of trouble. The colonel makes a snide remark about how Tasha was doing so well hiding until she met Alice; then her world fell apart.

As she's leaving, Alice sees Tasha walking down the hall and they stop facing each other and they have an awkward moment and they try to talk but Gillian is looking very hard and they part ways.

Back at SheBar Jenny and Niki are slipping and sliding and making out in the ring. And it looks like Jenny's the winner! Dawn gives them props and looks for another pair of women to compete and purposely spots Molly and brings her up to the ring, just to say hello to the crowd. Molly plays along and waves to the sea of lesbians and just as she does this, Dawn cries out for Shane who's at the bar getting drinks for she and Molly, Shane watches as Dawn pushes Molly in the ring sliding on her butt. Shane quickly makes way and tackles Dawn. This makes Cindi come in and join the fight, now we have four lovely ladies in the oily ring.

While they are slipping over each other, Shane manages to pull a nice lock of hair out of Dawn's head. The fight continues but is instantly stopped by the police and they order everyone out of the bar. They responded to Kit's call, very clever Miss Porter. As the crowd breaks up Tina is searching for Niki. After successfully finding her, Tina thanks the officer for not pressing charges and asks that he keeps it out of the press and thanks him. Shane gives Kit a high five saying the oily ring wasn't her kind of party. Asks Molly if she's ok and if she wanted to come over to change clothes and Molly thinks this another ploy to have sex with her and says she can keep dreaming. Shane tells Molly not to flatter herself. Cindi tries to sweet talk the officer and ends up with an additional $10,000.00 added to her fine, infuriating Dawn. Dawn talks mad game to Kit and they exchange words and Kit is toying with the fact Dawn and Cindi had to close shop and spend some time in jail.

Jenny catches up with Niki who thanks her for the night out. Jenny then tells Niki she loves her and the feeling is returned with a kiss. Meanwhile on the Lez Girls set, Adele is sitting in the director's chair and imagines herself in that position erringly saying "cut" and then "print". What could be going on in that diabolical mind of hers?
