Shane didn't know the internship was that summer. Phyllis tells Molly that she's not going to pass a Supreme Court internship for surfing; this is something she wants to do. Shane and Joyce are feeling a little awkward and Phyllis thinks Molly is doing this to get back at her. Molly says it's not about Phyllis; she's beyond that. Molly goes on to say she's accepting her mother's life choices; if Phyllis and Joyce decide to get married she hopes they (Molly and Shane) are invited. All Molly asks for is the same respect from her mother; Shane feels even more awkward.

Tina explains that she's the producer of this movie; she busted her ass putting it together. Why would she let Adele kick her off set? Adele says because Tina wants the movie on schedule and on budget. Tina walks away very pissed saying under her breath this is so insane. Adele returns to work walking off very pleased.

Helena asks if that's extortion; she remembers her mother being against using money to buy her friends. Peggy asks if the girls stood by her even when she didn't have a red cent. Helena tells Peggy they're her friends, of course they stood by her. Peggy says Helena would buy friendship if she already has it; she wishes Helena would be more clearheaded. Helena tells her mom she's the one who's not being very velar. After all, she took all of Helena's money away; Peggy says it was her money not Helena's.
She had to be sure Helena wouldn't make a fool out of the family with the money. Peggy goes on to say it's undignified to lead with a bankbook; Helena wonder what makes Peggy think she's any more dignified now. She honestly doesn't know if Helena is but she has to leave all her money to someone and it's not going to be her Lhasa apsos; talk about undignified (think Leona Helmsley). Helena asks what does Peggy want to do with her money, Peggy says to spend it willy-nilly. She suggests Helena buy her friend a club; buy her two. Helena sees at that moment how cool her mother is; she loves that idea.

Clea moves in for a kiss but Alice steps back and both apologize for almost giving into the moment. Alice asks if Clea's been in the position before; she has. Clea had a great love affair, broke someone's heart and caused a lot of chaos and destruction. Alice says Helena told her whatever starts in chaos ends in chaos. Clea says Helena knows what she's talking about. After a moment of silence Clea says she promised herself that she would never do that again. Alice points out that Clea just tried to kiss her; she knows. Clea says its hard to stick to your convictions when someone who is sexy, smart and amazing; someone you're so attracted to and be as close as they are to each other. Even though the attraction is there, neither feeds into it.
Tina pays a visit to Bette after being kicked off set. She left a message for Sally; she'll call Tina if anything goes wrong. Bette is impressed by how Tina's keeping her cool about being kicked off set; Tina doesn't have a choice. Nothing more can be done accept finish out the day, they wrap up at 4am, and they have the wrap party the following day. Bette asks if Tina has to be at the party. Tina wants to, it's her movie and there's no way she'll let Adele win. Bette tells her that everyone will be there with her. Tina wishes she could be at the art show with Bette. She'll be fine; Bette feels she wrote a pretty good speech. Tina tells Bette her favorite scene is being shot, it's when Jesse finally leaves Karina once and for all. Jesse's heartbroken and thinks there's no way she's going to love again. Bette says that's because Karina was Jesse's first love, everyone feels like that after their first love leaves. Tina claims Bette as her first love and thought she would die after their split. Bette says she never left Tina; she feels otherwise but says Bette came back to her. After a lingering loving look, Bette asks if Jenny wrote a happy ending and Tina gives a pleasing yes. Tina says Jenny wrote a great ending, she pulled it together. The ending gives a positive message to young gay women. Bette's sorry Tina can't be there to see them shoot the scene. Tina says it's ok, it's not important. Tasha's friend JJ took her to the academy, JJ teaches one of the classes there. They like the fact that she's ex-military and they're pro-gay, they have domestic partnership benefits. Alice isn't too pleased with the idea and asks if Tasha really wants to be a cop. It looks that way since Tasha filled out all the paperwork and she goes in for her first screening soon. Tasha asks Alice if this is ok and Alice says it's great, she's just checking out all the stuff Tasha has to study. Alice is happy for Tasha if this is what she wants and Tasha's very excited about it. They both agree it's great; it may take Alice some time to really warm up to Tasha's new career choice.
Helena goes across the street to SheBar and speaks to Cindi; she wants to talk about a business proposition. Cindi tells her Dawn isn't in but Helena's not there to speak to Dawn; she's there to speak to Cindi and ask if there's a place they can talk privately. Cindi takes her inside.
At the Hammer Museum Jodi's show is going to begin soon and the who's who of the art world are arriving and Bette is greeted by Serena Dean, they curator of Jodi's show. She tells Bette how happy she is to see her there after Jodi explained the piece for the show. Bette has no idea what she's talking about but can't get an explanation because Serena has wondered off speaking to other guests. Alice is asking everyone if they're going to the wrap party and Shane gives a resounding no. Jenny wants Shane and all the ladies to go and represent her and have a good time. Alice sees Jodi and tells her that everything is exciting; she didn't know Jodi was such a big deal. By way of Tom, Jodi thanks them for coming; that it means so much to her. Tasha's excited to see her work, Jodi's actually really nervous about it. Bette says she heard it was good and everyone gets a little quiet as Jodi, Tom and new love Max leaves.
Phyllis takes a moment to thank Shane for getting Molly to warm up more during breakfast and ask if they can talk in private. In another area of the museum, Phyllis talks about her other daughter Sophia a little, then she goes to the matter at hand. Phyllis gives molly praises for her academic skills; she's one of the most brilliant students she's ever encountered. This doesn't surprise Shane but the next thing Phyllis says does; Shane's not worthy of her daughter. Phyllis says the summer internship is a once in a lifetime opportunity, Shane tells her that Molly is a grown woman and she's not telling molly what to do. This isn't just about the internship and Phyllis says Shane knows what she's getting at. She does and what Shane knows is she's crazy about Molly. Phyllis says to Shane that Bette said she's not the kind of person any caring mother would want her daughter to have a relationship with. Shane doesn't believe her and says Bette wouldn't say that. Phyllis continues to berate her by even sharing that Alice spoke about her relationship with Carmen. The thing that sucks is Shane treating Molly like Carmen asking if Shane's going to do the same thing and throw Molly away like a piece of garbage. Shane says she's not and Phyllis wants to know how Shane knows. How can she be sure she's not going to find someone else who can't keep it in her pants around? Shane tells her it's not fair to say because no one knows that until it happens. Phyllis tells Shane that most people possess a certain amount of self-knowledge; the phrase past is prelude comes to her mind and asks if Shane's ever heard the expression answering for Shane suspecting she hasn't. This isn't about Molly's summer plans; in a threatening tone Phyllis tells Shane not to screw Molly over. If Shane even thinks she loves Molly, Phyllis asks that Shane spare her of becoming another hump bumping victims. Phyllis walks away totally crushing Shane.
Kit greets Jodi at the show. Jodi thanks her for coming, it means the world to her; Kit wouldn't miss it for the world. Jodi sees Bette and is civil; thanking her for being there, Bette's honored. Jodi hopes she likes the piece, Bette says she can't wait; neither can Jodi. Bette pays her a compliment and Jodi thanks her; she then sees Shane and says hello. Shane tells Jodi she misses her and the feeling mutual. She tries to tell Jodi she didn't know about Bette and Tina; Jodi says not to worry about it. She gives Jodi a hug and Jodi tells her not be a stranger; Shane says it right back. Serena introduces herself to the crowd and gives a brief description of Jodi's work as part of the Artist Working in New Media Series; she then introduces Bette. She takes the stage and talks about Jodi with much adoration. She ends by saying Jodi's been a gift and a privilege to have as an artist in resident at CU; an even greater gift having Jodi in her life. She introduces Jodi to the crow and the artist receives a roaring applause.
Jodi thanks everyone for coming and presents her piece. She calls this piece core because it's about core values - love, loyalty, honesty and commitment. The show begins with the entire room becoming the screen and everyone can see distorted pictures in a slow to mid-tempo montage of Bette Porter and her voice plays over the pictures in the same way. It takes a while to sink in. Bette is completely beside herself with the piece; her friends, colleagues and her sister are there to witness it as well making her feel even more mortified.
It's another busy night at SheBar and Dawn notices Helena on the monitor. She and her lover Cindi welcome Helena to the bar and as usual Dawn makes herself look like she's on top. For the first time we see Dawn get weak for a woman; if you're going to get weak for a woman Helena would be the one. Dawn comes back to her senses when she sees Shane, Alice, Tasha and Jenny enter after with Shane introducing Dawn to their good friend Helena Peabody; Dawn calls them skanks wondering how they got through the door. She tells them they need to leave, even if they have a stunner of a friend in Helena. She realizes who Helena is and before asking about her mother, Helena asks the girls if Dawn just asked them to leave; Shane gives a cute nod. Helena tells Dawn she can't tell them to leave, calling her a rich girl Dawn wants to know why. Kits walks in further pissing Dawn off with news to share. Feeling rightfully vindicated Kit drops the bomb on Dawn, they own SheBar!
They let her know her two primary investors were more that happy to sell to them at a profit. Especially when they found out Dawn leveraged them within and inch of a felony. Dawn wants to know how they got a hold of the papers because it was confidential; Helena looks over at Cindi. Dawn can't believe that Cindi would do that to her. Cindi asks how can she do anything when Dawn tells people that Cindi doesn't have a thought in her head. Enraged, Dawn takes Cindi's face asking this is the thought in her head. Helena grabs Dawn arm demanding she takes her hand of Cindi. Dawn asks why, with the looking on Helena says because Cindi is with her. We finally find out Cindi's full name. With a new level of confidence, she says it's not her lover Cindi - it's Cindi Annabelle Tucker. She asks Helena if she wants to dance in her new club; she'd love to. With much egg on her face Dawn tell Cindi she was done with her anyway; flatly says goodbye and have a good time. The ladies are still with Dawn and she asks why are they still standing there. Kit tells Dawn that she can go home or she can stay and do the dishes, the floor or she can do the floor; there are lots of things Dawn can do. Dawn sarcastically calls Kit a riot and says it's not over. The ladies take the dance floor with Kit and her victorious dance. In her final attempt to stay on top Dawn throws remarks at them but Dawn has become the biggest joke in West Hollywood. She leaves the club sulking.
Molly and Shane are having an intimate moment on the dance floor and Shane asks molly to get her a drink. Shane sees Vanessa and remembers meeting her. She tells Vanessa if she ever wants to do anything the phone number hasn't changed. Vanessa doesn't have her numbers; Shane will give her a call. Molly sees the entire scenario and asks Shane what was that about; Shane was flirting with Vanessa. As bad as she doesn't want to do it, Shane gives a nonchalant attitude about it. She tries to explain that they've had a lot of fun but Molly has school. Molly puts a stop to what Shane's trying to do, she's freaking out and scared; Shane owes it to them to give their relationship a shot. Shane's not freaking out and she never promised Molly anything. Molly said when they were in bed that morning and Shane was kissing and holding her. Those were promises. Shane tells Molly she misunderstood.
Not knowing what to do next, Molly asks what do girls do now, throw their drink in her face; Shane says sometimes that happens. Molly's not going to do that because Shane doesn't deserve it, she deserves compassion. Molly's not going to try and save her, it's something Shane needs to do for herself. She wishes Shane luck in figuring things out. Molly tells Shane to take her time; hopefully she'll still be around. Shane watches her walk away feeling horrible, she let Phyllis penetrate the relationship. Maybe there was truth in what Phyllis said.
Bette's at home with Tina reliving the art show. She tells Tina the room was full of her colleagues, her students, and her friends; people that she cared about. Why would Jodi do something so humiliating; Tina says that's why she did it. Stroking her hair, Tina tells Bette to try to let go. The only reason Bette can let go is because Tina's with her.
The next day everyone is dresses to the nine's arriving at the Lez Girls wrap party. Tina, Bette and Kit arrive and Tina sees Sally and Sandra, the line producer and firs A.D. respectively. Tina finds it funny when people hook up on movie sets. She introduces everyone and sees William come out of the limo but quickly turns when she sees Adele and Begoña with him on each arm. Bette suggests finding their friends and they proceed in; time to brave the night. Tina and Bette finally see that Helena's back and Cindi's part of the circle. Shane comes in wishing a happy wrap party. Bette asks about Molly and Shane says she must be in school. This is one of those moments where everyone knows what's up but no speaks on it. They each take a glass of champagne and toast to Jenny. Shane and Bette are checking out the dance floor and sees Adele and Begoña dancing and displaying much PDA. They can't believe what they're seeing; Bette calls her a piece of work.
Everyone mingles and Tasha's at the bar with Cammie and Shane notices how chummy they are; Alice says Tasha's had a few. They didn't know Tasha drank so much; Alice tries to explain but her voice trails off. Alice tells Shane about Clea, she asks if that's why Tasha's drinking; it's not. Alice didn't act on it and Tasha doesn't know about it. Shane knows Alice wants to do something and it's confirmed. Alice feels that the right thing to do is work things out with Tasha. Shane asks why she should; Alice says because they let their relationships blow up at the first sign of temptation. Nobody works on their relationships anymore, they want instant gratification. Alice doesn't want to be like that, Shane agrees saying she's right. Shane has seen from day one that they've given the relationship a chance, so maybe they've come to a point where they want something different; and it's ok. Alice mentions everything Tasha went through with the trial and giving up everything she believed in. Shane tells Alice that has nothing to do with her, it never did. She goes on to say that Alice has a right to be happy. Shane asks who the girl is but Alice doesn't say.
As the party progress to the evening, Tina and Bette take to the dance floor as the DJ plays Issac Hayes' Walk on By. The attention is taken off Adele and Begoña and on to the real deal. The ladies are relaxing at their table and Tasha comments on how she can imagine them together. Alice says they belong together, Helena agrees; Kit says they've always have. Gretchen and Isabelle look on as their real life counterparts heat up the floor. Adele and Begoña have nothing on these two.
Niki sets at a table away from the party and is approached by Shane. Niki tells Shane she's avoiding people. Shane asks why, this is Niki's big night. Niki says the party is lame, everyone's looking at her expecting her to begin performing like a trained money. She's tired of people wanting her to be who they want her to be. Very buzzed, Shane says that sounds like fun. Wonder what could she say, Shane shares that she screwed with Molly the previous night. Shane says she got ahead of herself; she pictured a future with Molly but was wrong. Niki says as soon as thing turns out wrong you have to get out. That's what Niki does, she moves on. Because if you don't, you get caught in their mess and end up screwed. Shane knows what Niki means; they toast to not caring.
William welcomes everyone to the party. The party is his way of saying thank you to the cast and crew for their dedication and creativity they've brought into his life. He turns the stage to someone he has recently gotten to know and admire. Without her, Lez Girls would not be the great success William knows it's going to be. She's a rising star in Hollywood who just signed a three picture deal. He introduces the one and only Adele Channing. She takes the microphone, thanks William and says she doesn't deserve those accolades - how right she is. She does mention that the first picture in that deal will star her beautiful and talented lady, Begoña Garcia; she's the one they were really after. Adele also wants to mention that just that morning they were picked up by a major distributor; Begoña happily applauses with the rest of the partygoers.
Adele is aware she came into the process of the film late; but she's honored and privileged to have played a role. To have learned from the likes of William, Aaron, Tina, Sam and of course she can't forget Jenny. As she expresses how Jenny gave her the opportunity - Jenny walks in saying she didn't give Adele anything; she stole it. William asks if he should call security, Adele says it's fine. Looking beautiful, Jenny walks in with class as Tina started the applause, it slowly builds with genuine love and adoration from the crowd. Adele gives Jenny the microphone and Gretchen yells out the cast loves her too. Jenny thanks everyone for the warm welcome. She realizes the movie is out of her hands now and hope that those entrusted with the responsibility will honor it.
Jenny wants to thank the amazing crew who helped her see through her vision. Jenny thanks her friends calling them incredible who she really loves. They've shown her loyalty, so much compassion and friendship. Things Jenny thinks Lez Girls is all about. It means the world to her, more than any movie or lover. She asks if Niki's at the party; Cammie says Niki's out by the little pagoda. Jenny wants to tell her something. She realized something really important that afternoon. She is madly in love with someone and it's changed the way Jenny feels about this. She thanks everyone for putting up with her. Jenny walks off to a roaring applause and cheers as she heads over to her friends and hugs everyone.
Not knowing Jenny's at the party, Shane and Niki are making out. Shane's got Niki on the rail, looking like she can tip over at any moment. Jenny's heading in their direction calling for Niki; she's lost in what Shane's doing. Thinking she's gonna find Niki alone, she sees Shane having her way with Niki. Looking at Shane, Jenny can't believe what she's seeing. Shane looks up and Niki soon after as Jenny stands there in shock. She asks Shane what she's doing and Niki gets herself together.
Tina finds out that Adele, Aaron and William agreed to change the ending of the movie. Adele says it makes total sense that Jesse would go back to Jim in the end. Aaron says Jesse never really felt gay to him to begin with; Tina asks what he would know about it. She's highly upset at this typical Hollywood move. Aaron doesn't think it's a big deal if William spends a little more money to change the ending.
Jenny feels even if Shane thought she and Niki broke up, why do it. Shane swears she's Jenny's friend. Jenny thought they've gone beyond this drama; Shane knows what she's talking about. Jenny walks away hurt and disappointed. Shane grabs her jacket and goes after Jenny with Niki trailing behind.
An upset Tina says they've worked really hard on a movie they believed in and the marketing people come in and change the ending; that's wrong. Lez Girls was supposed to change that. Adele tells Tina if the movie's too gay it's going to alienate audiences,. Too gay? It's a movie about lesbians! William assures the movie is full of lesbians, chocked full of them. Aaron goes down the roster of characters in the movie who are lesbians; they're talking about one character. It's not a big deal. Tina just wants to know how Adele lives with herself. Adele doesn't care about how Tina feels acting like an instant diva. As the girls are looking on, Bette asks what's going on. Tina tells them the studio wants to change the ending of the movie; they want Jesse to go back to Jim. Even they can't believe it, especially when Tina tells them the studio thinks the film is too gay. Alice asks if Tina's going to let them get away with it; Kit add it's The Man that does this craziness.
The attention is shifted to Jenny, Shane and Niki. Shane pleads with Jenny to talk, saying she's Jenny's friend. Jenny doesn't want to talk and Niki asks can't they all just be friends. Shane again swears she's Jenny's friend. Jenny says what Shane and Niki did is the ultimate betrayal. Bette goes to get the car, there's no need for them to be there any longer. Jenny looks directly at Shane and says Shane has broken her heart and walks away; leaving Shane guilt ridden.
