Once you arrive in Historic Savannah, Georgia you know you are in for a treat. There are so many wonderful shops that you'll find it difficult to see everything in a day, so you may want to make it a weekend adventure.

Although the entrees are great, you cannot visit The Lady & Sons without trying the hoecakes and cheese biscuits. The hoecakes are a treat and extremely filling, so be careful y'all! The hoecakes are made with cornmeal and taste like pancakes....can you say YUMMMY! The cheese biscuits are light and fluffy and almost melt in your mouth.

Next up, we checked out the dessert and I can sum it up in one word..."RICH". Some of the desserts we tried was the Banana pudding that looks like ice cream, the peach cobbler which was down home good and the Gooey butter cakes with just the right touch of chocolate was extremely rich, thick and full of gooey goodness!
