The Lane for Staples Blackberry Leather Office Chair

A couple of years ago, I needed a new office chair. My husband and I went to the local Staples office supply store to look for the best contenders. I work out of my home and sit in my office chair for hours every day, so I wanted something that would be very comfortable and durable. A few days after we scouted for chairs, my husband went out and bought me one for our anniversary. He ended up bringing home a Lane manager's office chair. Unfortunately, my reaction to his choice of chairs was less than enthusiastic. But he set the thing up and I ended up liking it well enough, even if it wasn't my first choice.

Three years later, it was time for a new office chair. This time, I really wanted one that I would love. Since Lane had delivered a pretty good product the last time we shopped for office seating, it was only natural that we'd shop the brand again. My husband went to Staples again and brought along his trusty iPhone. He took pictures of three different chairs and emailed them to me. I picked the one that I liked the best. As it turned out, my choice was the Lane for Staples Blackberry Leather Office Chair which, lucky for us, happened to be on sale for about $200.

Setting up the chair took about 20 minutes or so. The first time I sat down in my new leather chair, I was in heaven! This chair is very roomy and comfortable, with adjustable internal lumbar support, adjustable seat height and tilt tension, and plenty of space and padding for my ever widening body. My husband knew he'd picked a winner when he saw a big smile on my face and heard me sigh with contentment.

I've been using this office chair for several weeks and I still love it. It is-- hands down-- the most comfortable office chair I've ever used. I'd say it's as comfortable as a living room chair without all the bulk. I really appreciate the fact that this chair has a high back with lots of padding, so I can lean back and relax with back muscles when I need a rest. I also love the fact that this chair's seat is generously padded so my butt doesn't get fatigued from too much sitting.

The only negative I can think of regarding the Lane for Staples Blackberry Leather Office Chair is the fact that the armrests aren't adjustable. I think the armrests on this chair are comfortable enough, but users can't move them up or down to suit their anatomy.

This chair sits on five casters, which makes it easy to move. I can slide the chair around our home office with no problems. I also like the fact that this office chair is upholstered in brown leather, which makes it attractive and suitable for a wide variety of decors. I expect to be able to use this chair for years because it's well built and solid.
