The Latest Fashion Rage, Lindsay Lohan's Courtroom Frock

Escorted by 20+ LAPD officers, Lindsay Lohan appeared in a Los Angles courtroom on Wed., Feb.9, 2011, to face alleged charges of felony grand theft, looking very "hot" in a white, tight fitting dress. It wasn't weather Lohan would be going back to jail that the buzz was all about, it was what she was wearing that seemed to grabbing the attention.

The white, tight fitting frock by designer Kimberly Ovitz reportedly had a price tag of $575 and was said to be selling like "hotcakes". Shoppers were rushing to the stores to grab the dress in order to get that Lindsay Lohan courtroom look. According ABC's Good Morning America and other news outlets and blogs, many of the stores that carried the dress were said to be sold out of it within hours of Lohan's courtroom appearance.

The body hugging white number was deemed questionable for a courtroom appearance, but that didn't stop buyers from grabbing it off the racks. Black channel sunglasses to avoid eye contact with the paparazzi completed Lindsay Lohan's look. Lohan later tweeted that it was just absurd that what she wore to court should be front page news.

Lindsay Lohan pleaded not guilty to the felony theft charges and after a stern warning from the judge and posting bail, her case will be continued on Feb.23. Many can't wait, I would bet, to see what she'll be wearing to her next court appearance.

Only time will tell if the Lindsay Lohan's courtroom frock will be marketed on a larger scale and become the latest fashion trend. It seems like in one way or another, Lindsay Lohan continues to make news headlines weather she tries or not. We haven't seen or heard the last of this, I don't think.
