The Law of Attraction Works Much Better for People Who Have Money Not for People Who Are Poor

The Skeptical Inquirer Magazine has criticized the law of attraction because it is cannot be measured or proven right or wrong through scientific methodology. The Skeptical Inquirer Magazine states that all claims are anecdotal and slanted towards positive and very selective reports. Negative reports from people trying out the law of attraction are never mentioned in the literature.

How then can one acquire an informed opinion if there are only positive reports and no negative reports at all? Thousands of people would admit having tried the law of attraction and it did not work for them. Logic dictates that when we are dealing with psychological, metaphysical, esoterica, or ephemeral properties there would have to be some kind of validation process otherwise it would not be considered science. At best it would be called a miracle where no rigorous scientific scrutiny is necessary, in other words it is a belief system.

Other scientists such as Victor Stenger and Leon Lederman refute the connection between the law of attraction and quantum psychics. They state that the law of Attraction is misrepresenting the electrical impulses of brainwaves. They claim that the Law of Attraction is simply modern pseudoscience.

Another criticism of the Law of Attraction is that it that the principal only works for people who are in a lifestyle that allows for it to happen. If we take the example previously mentioned of someone who asks the universe for a windfall, that situation would more likely become reality for a big investor than a street person or someone near destitution.

Law of Attraction in Montreal

There was a The Secret - Montreal Law of Attraction Meetup Group http://www.meetup.com/lawofattraction-123/ where Montrealers can get together and discuss their experiences and the teachings of Abraham-Hicks . However, it doesn't seem to be active since 2007. The website is still up and has a place where people can start up a new meetup event. In the past Montreal meetups have been held in such places as Concordia University.
